This is easy. It is talking about Charity. The pure love of Christ. This is a godly attribute he wants us to have for all mankind. Read on in vs 13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
This is the same charity Jesus Christ had for all of us when he suffered the atonement in the garden for our sins, and died on the cross so we can be resurrected. He laid down his life for us. There is no better example of charity than this.

It is talking about love in general. There are no different types of love. You either love or you don't.

There is no difference, it is a love that you can and should apply to all relationships, whether you are helping a stranger, dealing with your spouse, or in worship of God.

It is talking about how love acts.
Love, such as God is, is so wonderful that it is hard to define. It is easier to tell how it acts.
