His passion is tow trucks. He loves music(korn/linkin park/nickelback), tattoos, he wants to start working out but doesn't want a gym subscription, he also loves books and movies.

He already has a gps. And so far i'm getting him a portable dvd player.

Not as like "preacher", being a leader of a Christian church, as in any one who attempts to "pimp", or sell, his/her religion, kind of like begging and groveling for you to see the "light" of their own particular religion and convert to it.

I think it's so pathetic, religions whose goal is to go out "and spread the message/truth/light" and seek to convert everyone to their faith are just disgusting. A religion should be "Yea you want to convert to this religion, ok, but I'm not going to lecture you and beg until you do."

Hopefully this isn't a morbib question. I'm am currently 54 but I've picked my cut off age of 92. Don't know why, it just sounded like a nice round number. Yeh, I know. It's really not up to me.

"At fifteen I began to be seriously interested in study. At thirty I had formed my character. At forty I had no more perplexities. At fifty I knew the will of Heaven. At sixty nothing that I heard disturbed me. At seventy I could let my thoughts wander without trespassing the moral law. Who said this and why? Who couldn't have said it and why?

You guy probably all read my last question. I have a friend (not a really close friend, but an old one) who is suddenly super zealous about her faith.

And I'm happy for her. I know she knows I'm not Christian, but we haven't really talked about it. Online however she posts all this stuff about feeling sorry for people that aren't "saved". And how there is only one truth- hers.

Do you think she'd even want to be friends with me still if she realized I am a nature-worshipping Pantheistic Pagan?

Do you think if she did it would only be in the hopes of converting me someday?

After all, doesn't the Bible say not to be "unequally yoked" or something like that?

I've lost other people to Jesus, and I never denied them their faith, it's just that I didn't share it. It's really sad to me. I'm scared this will happen again. What should I do?

2 Timothy 4:7 - "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."

And, can you relate to what Paul said?

How does our reality come from matter and how could it accidental be put together from nothing?
How stupid could someone be to say that no one created reality and it just happend.
Their is so much complexity even in a partical at quantum level.

Why would someone act so stubborn and loaded with pride that they could think this in today's age.

It takes a mind far more powerful than a human to create a reality like this.

Reality is far more complicated than a car yet would if I told you evolution made my car.

People say after billions of years we formed from nothing with no plan or thought. After this time reality of ourself was present.
And the planets just happened to protect the earth, we just happened to have a sun at day with a moon at night, the earth a perfect distance from the sun, rotating, plant for healing fruit to eat, vegtables to eat, feeling built in us , on and on and on

Yet all some can due is say whats wrong with the world. How about whats right.

...that JWs and LDSs consider themselves Christians. I seem to see a lot of questions (from other Christians, as far as I can tell) that seem to imply that there are Christians, and then there are Jehovah's Witnesses and Latter Day Saints.

It seems to me like saying that there are dogs, and then there are poodles and labrador retrievers.

Perhaps some Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses out there can clear this up for me. Thanks.

It seems like there seems to be a popular perception that if you are not a Christian you must be an Atheist. This misconception has even extended to this board where questions are often addressed to "non-believers" by Christians where in the details it is obvious they are speaking about Atheists and denying that other beliefs exist; or to "Theists" by Atheists when in the details they are speaking about Christianity.

There are many of us here who are neither Christian nor Atheist, but are Jewish, Muslim, or part of the Pagan family of religions (of which Wicca is only one)

I'm 16 and I live in Ontario, Canada and my goal is to eventually move to the US and eventually become an American citizen. I have relatives in NC, I've been there to visit a lot, and I've traveled with my parents all over the eastern US and I really like it. I'm hoping to eventually go to university in the US, and then get a job and become a permanent resident. I've never figured out why I am so attracted to wanting to live there, but I just am, and I even have a small American flag in my room. My biggest interests are American history and politics.

There are two problems with that. The first one is that I'm living in an environment where most people are anti American. I overhear nasty comments about Americans and the US in general, almost every day from kids at school and even adults in stores, malls, etc. Everyone in my classes thinks that it's stupid that I want to move to that "dump to the south". It makes me so mad but I just try to ignore it.

1 Timothy 1
13Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
