John Lennon - Happy Xmas (War Is Over)

Happy Xmas

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you'll have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And, so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
A new one just begun
And, so happy Christmas
We hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
War is over, if you want it
War is over, now

Happy Christmas

My husband is one of those guys. Here's what I've found out. Listen to what they complain about. Like if they complain about the mouse cord always getting tangled, get him an optical wireless mouse. One day we were sort of watching a cooking show and he exclaimed "Those are cool square plates! Better than what we have now!" So I got him a set of white square plates. He was complaining about how his socks wear out so often, so I got him durable hiking socks. We were flipping through channels one night and he saw an old SNL and said how much he loved those old skits. Bingo, the DVDs.

Hubbies do give you tiny clues, even when they don't realize it.

If you know the kinds of things he would like to buy himself just for fun, get him a gift certificate for a store that sells that kind of stuff. If he likes music and/or movies, get him a gift certificate for a CD/DVD store. Or, get a gift certificate for a classy restaurant, and let him take you out to dinner.
