is the end terrible and yet not "bad"(need a bible beeter or a revelation specilist?

i am a 18 year old christian not yet baptized.
i do pay my percentages more than average on a timely basis.
so be it if other religions disagree yet im trying to be Mr. goody twoshose
i go to a mormon church, and i lsten to K-love(radio) like an addiction.
and last about myslef i read the bible once in a while.

here i go
our book is closely tied to what the other folks have to say about the end of days and the last days (yikes!)
here's hints on whats on my mind and for you folks tp put your two sents in.

and tributaries:


these words or phrases are in the bible or in the mormen bible
the type of mormen we are is the single marriage type and not having 7 wifes.( i say this to just be more spacific of my backround)

If you believe in the rapture and whatnot, you'll be lifted to heaven when the end times come. I'll stay down here on Earth and have all the fun doing battle.

I have heard that we are in the "last days"...whatever that means...The last days could be 100 years from now or in a few weeks to days...I mean no one knows really....I have heard WE will end the world by FIRE...NOT GOD, US...MAN....isn't that nice??? geez...why are we sooo destructive???? can we be stopped??? who knows? alot of unknowns here...
