I do not belive in any real god but i belive in one true power, and that as long as you live a good life, not perfect but just good, as in kind etc.
i am not racist in any way and belive that evry one has a right to belive somethink.
But i do belive that parents should not push thir own beliefs onto there children, trust me i have friends that have been through this sort of thing.
ok thats my beliefs put forward and hope that my questio will not uset to many people(as i am sure it will as always) and i will not point any fingers.

Out of a love of criminals and killers who are refered to by some as vampires, and a love of my Hungarian ancestory, I just wrote a mini-biography for my English class on Elizabeth Báthory, The Blood Countess of Čachtice. We're going to soon be recording our own reading of our paper as a Podcast, and I'm not 100% sure of some of the names.

Help?

I'm not totally sure of Čachtice, György, Ferenc Nádasdy, Ecsed, or Fogarasfold (really just the stressed and unstressed syllables in that).

Pretty sure of Erzsébet (err-seh-bet), Nyírbátor (roughly near-bah-tor), Sárvár (roughly sahr-vahr ?), Trencsén (roughly trehnch-ayn ? am I even close?).
I have little experience with words including the acute accent, and no experience with the Caron or Diaeresis accents. Soooo, yeah, thanks.

if the belief that our constitutional laws are based on laws in the bible given out by god, wouldn't they have to be consistent with the laws of countries in the middle east. islamic, christian, and jewish laws are all derived from the same part of the old testament, therefore shouldn't our laws be the same as the laws in places like iraq? but they are not. how come?

I have no christians around me to ask this to, so what better place than here.
here is the quote:

"Is god willing to prevent evil but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him god?"

My grandfather died 3 years ago of cancer in my home. I now sleep in the room where he died, my bed in the same place his bed was when he died. Untill recently I have never had any problems staying in the room, but about two months ago I began to get awakened to someone pushing on my leg. I hear whispering off and on, but sometimes not for days. Today I was in the shower and my shampoo bottle jumped off of the shelf and slammed into my head. What is going on? should I get someone spiritual to deal with a spirit? is this even a spirit? I get bad headaches when I begin to hear the whispers and feel like i'm going to vomit when I wake up from something touching my legs. what in the hell is going on?

When I was growing up, my father told me we were not allowed to eat anything for at least an hour before we received Holy Communion.

Why was this and is it still this way today?

christianity says competition is bad , but then how do you know about your shortcomings and how to improve them , if not by losing?
the whole sexuality issue, i see they focus a lot on "feeling lust"
but again how do you know if you truly desire someone if you dont feel lust first and of course this is a very important factor when deciding whether you like someone or not among other important things as well! Also if you date non-christians is like a big red flag
Do you actually think that "gods way" is a square?
"that your religion is the only way" what makes you believe so?
"Wiccans and other magick practicioners are from the devil"
Certainly not true , i practice wicca at times and the last thing in my mind is to hurt someone else....but you guys still insist "magick is wrong" but did you also notice that slavery is wrong but in your bible it fully approves and even recommends it!!!What's up with the old and new testament issue. Many of you say that all cruelty comes from the old one , and the new one is the right one! Since when? And why if the old one is so wrong , is still being taught to the masses?

I've read numerous answers to various questions by Christians saying that Jesus is dead. For example, a question just now asked something to the effect of "Why doesn't Jesus intervene when children suffer?" Two answerers so far said "Because Jesus is dead. It's God that should intervene."

Okay, so he doesn't walk the earth anymore, and true he died on the cross, but did these people not continue to read on in the Bible that he rose three days later?!?!

Jesus lives people!!
