I'd use all the skills God gave me, and be on a coconut raft and off the island in a flash. No Gilligan's Island type foolishness here.

If I were alone on a deserted island, I wouldn't have to answer to anyone.
I'd hold fast to anything that would help me survive and keep me from dying of boredom
The survival instinct would keep me going and I would try to seek rescue in some way or another.

Motivation to carry on would be my living. As an atheist, I value my life and have myself to motivate me to continue to try to live.

I would be motivated by the hope of being rescued and of seeing my loved ones again, obviously.
