so apparently one defining characteristic of god is that he is omnipresent. that means he is everywhere. however there is a law of physics which states that two masses cannot occupy the same space at the same time. so how can god be everywhere if i'm standing where i'm standing, where i'm standing is part of everywhere, and i'm not god? in order for god to be everywhere, one would have to reason that everything is god, in which case i'm not me, i'm god.

I'm raising 4 kids on my own, no child support and only have a part time job (i'm in school full time) what do I do when people keep getting me gifts and I have nothing to give them in return. People get jealous of me because I receive SSI & Social Security. They also think I'm lazy for getting Office of Disability accommodations @ school. They think we disabled people STEAL their tax dollars. They don't know what struggles we have. I'm very mentally disabled. I can't work around people, I panic when I'm rushed, & I have difficulty concentrating. People are quick to fire me on jobs because they say I work to slow & I'm not capable of handling the job & working @ fast pace. I suffer OCD, Tourette's, Anxiety, & Depression. If they think I'm mentally incompetent, out of my head & crazy, why must they think I should work anyway?

My OCD unwanted, intrusive thoughts attack me the most. They think I'm taking the free & lazy way out. What they don't know is-I'm trying to work & become self-sufficient, but no one wants to hire me. Just by looking @ me, they figure I have some screws missing, & that I'm just ditzy & dumb, so they take advantage of me & cheat me & I get in trouble.

Posed as an answer, this now comes as a question. Why is it that over the course of time humans have improved upon, or have rejected and modified, the ancient methods of goat herding yet are still clinging to the religious stories told by those same ancient goat herders? Why it is possible to move forward with animal husbandry, yet continue to remain fawning over some backward mythical deity? We rejected the much earlier goat herder's belief in Zeus and Hera so why haven't we continued to move forward?

jesus die for are sins past present and future .I don't understand why my fellow christians juge other christian on there sins saying that if you sin or continue in sin after becomeing a christian you were never a christian in the frist place . i sin every day some sin i feel the holy spirit convict me and some i don't . every one sins if thats true then why did jesus die on the cross for our sin then .we are human . then i guess we are all going to hell if that is true

Hey guys, have u noticed that "Germany" has a completely different spell in other foreign languages?

Portuguese: Alemanha
Italian: Germania
French: Allemagne
English: Germany
German: Deutschland

Why is that? they're all European languages from countries that have known german people very well, there's no reason to do this no-sense translation lol

I just picture 2 kids arguing over where babies come from:

"it's the stork, it brings the baby to the new mommy and daddy... my mommy told me so..."

"nut uh, Babies come from a cabbage patch, I have proof... I seen them on TV..."


Both strike me as "nice stories" to explain something which an inillectually inferior being (such as a child) that would appease their mind enough to stop worrying about it.
