Does anyone know a good website that shows the development of santa claus? Or does anyone know how he came to be?

Santa is an almagamation of Christian and Pagan mythology. He may or may not have been a real person in about the 4th century. However many Pagan traditions predating Christianity have tales of various Gods, elves and even a goat that delivered presents and such for the winter holiday.

The development of santa claus, or chris kringle actually was invented by the Roman Catholic church, who venerated a German monk, as they started the concept of the worship of saints, there is no record in the pages of the Holy Bible of such a person! A true Christian gives honour and glory to Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord! Have you thought about this? Rev. Joseph.
