You expect me to spend money on a dead tree, NOT get creeped out by an old guy in a red suit that follows me everywhere and eat candy out of my sock?

Just to be sure. Since this was delted earlier.

(Sorry if it's not as funny the second time. :-D )

I am not a Jehovah's Witness either, but if I am wrong, I am pretty sure that someone will come on here and correct it. They don't believe in the Trinity, because the word Trinity does not appear in any Bible that was written from the original Greek/Hebrew text. They believe that there is one true God, the Creator and they believe there is a begotten Son, Jesus. They believe that Jesus was probably with GOD all along, first as an angel, (not truly documented) but says that he was with him from the beginning. Then as spiritual man, Jesus, and back to God's right side in heaven. They believe that God, the Creator is giving Jesus the authority to rule over the new earth, after the much talked about Armageddon. The Holy Spirit is not viewed as God or Jesus or as a person since it does not have a personal name and can be assumed to be the life force of the creator. A lot of people claim that Jehovah's Witness shut out Jesus, giving only the Creator recognition, In the first part of Revelation it tells of the religions that pleased God. One religion was almost perfect. The one thing they missed was acknowledging the Father. It still goes, today.

Right.

You can cut down your own tree....call the police on the creepy drunk in the red suit, and why do you keep your candy in a sock? I keep mine in a bowl...

Personally I expect none of the aforementioned of you. Nor anything else, quite frankly.

It's YOUR life. Live it as YOU choose.

I will neither condone nor condemn your decisions unless they involve causing deliberate harm to another. Then I'll bust ya in the chops and larn ya better.

Yah that pretty much sums it up and don't forget the part where you load up your credit card with gifts for family and friends--and in return you get a gift you won't ever find any use.

Buy a potted tree, and then after the holidays, just plant it. That's what we do.
