I mean like at a mall, place of business etc. Some people do that to me and I really dont wanna act like a "you know what" so I let it pass and try not to say anything to calm myself down.

can you show any evidence that Marry was really a virgin and as some would say that Joseph came lied and said Marry was a virgin to save face
do you have any references other then the bible that could validate this story
ie Historical documentation form other sources of that exact time that Marry was pregnant but was still yet a virgin

It was posted about a month ago by some kid…It was probably the first time she had ventured onto the R&S board and the question, whilst highly amusing and though asked in naïve innocence, was a clear indication of a typical Christian influenced education system. She was immediately swamped with responses ridiculing and mocking her and she even adds details (in caps) telling people to stop responding. It still makes me chuckle when I look at it, but I kind of feel sorry for her because she hasn’t come back since. Are we a bunch meanies or what?

I'm just wondering if you might believe in some sort of a God if it weren't for all the theological baggage that religions often attach to the concept. Would you believe in God if it didn't involve accepting other things like virgin births, sacrifice, prophecy, miracle healings and the like? I saw a quote earlier today that prompted this question.

I have been cheating with a girl from my office for 2 months now. Once a week we get together at her home and i am given a slice of heaven. much more interesting than the usual run of the mill lights out at the Bateman household.

I asked to indulge in alittle light hearted anal pleasure and she replied by telling me that she would only if i let her put a strap on and she returned the "favour".

I am unclear as to how i should feel. It seems cute & sexy if i do it to her but not the other way around.

To have the big brown sleeping monster in my rectal cavity awoken in such a rude way seems to be tempting a messy conclusion to my happy hour.

Why do some of you have a problem with women that cover themselves? This is not regarding those forced to, this is in regards to even those that are not born into the religion. Why have a problem with how Muslim women dress? You are not choosing it, it is not your body, why are you forcing your opinion? I'm a Muslimah. I love being one. I am not abused, I am not killed over not dressing a certain way (that father is psycho and so are the extremists killing women for it!!!). Nobody tells me they are better or above me. My husband does all of the cooking since he enjoys it and helps clean the house as well, because from an Islamic perspective, even though he does work, I am also working by raising the kids and cleaning the rest of the house.

So why have a problem with how anyone dresses? I don't care if some woman is bare naked running around, it's not me and I have no right to say "hey, wear something". If I don't like it, I turn my face the other way. Is that so hard?

Born and raised baptist, church 3 to 5 times a week, baptist schools from 3rd to 11th grade and even a bit of seminary... yet people assume... From what I have seen of the other atheists on this forum they are even more educated in this subject than I, and based upon the actions of those oserved we are all more educated on what the bible says than christs ilk...

All law is someone's morality that has been legislated...

So what makes your ethics better than Christian ethics when it comes to legislating morality?

Why is it wrong for Christians to have an influence in politics and law and not other "special interest" groups?

The Mitchell report is only the latest disclosure in a long history of cheating in American so-called sport. The fact that the people mentioned are held up to the young as heroes perhaps explains why American youth drug culture is so strong.

I need to speak to my teacher about my progress academically, thats fine.

However the problem is last time i saw her i was a wreck i had just admitted i was gay. i could barely say the word. So im pretty sure shes going to ask me about wether ive told my mum. (i haven't yet, but I'm get closer)

I'm a lot better with my sexuality now. (i left school, now at college, good environment, feeling good about myself finally)

How do i stop the meeting making me an emotional wreck?
