Is it buho or lechuza (or something like that)
because i looked it up and it showed two different things.

I mean owl like.. the bird. you know. hoot hoot..

lechuza is female, buho is male. Spanish is a gender specific language. Chico is boy, chica is girl, and so on.

Búho is a true or typical owl
Lechuza is a barn owl

An owl = tecolote.
By the way, tecolote is also slang for a cop
in Mexico, because so many are on night patrol.
