Religion is a belief without tangible evidence that people dishonestly portray as truth… simple huh?

Shouldn’t religious people be more honest and instead of saying, “Accept Jesus and be saved!” they should in fact be saying, “We believe that if you accept this mythical figure called Jesus for which we have no proof, you will be saved from something else for which we have no proof!” I mean, this Jesus guy wanted people to be completely honest, didn’t he? With no hidden agendas, ulterior motives etc?

I'm kinda stuck with this one because doesn't it only make sense to ask for forgiveness because you know you have done wrong and will not do it again? I know only God can judge, before you fire that one at me, but what do you do? x

I've started studying and reading about different pagan paths. I haven't committed to one yet. But since I have started studying, I have noticed some weird things. What concerns me most is the crows. I've been dreaming of them frequently, and in the dream one crow is perched on a stone in my garden, and the other dead in the flowers. In the dream, I feel as though one crow has killed the other.
I have also heard the sounds of crows during the night....but I have never seen a crow where I am currently living.
I have become vaguely familiar with some of the deities that the crow is associated with. And I'm not sure I'm comfortable with them(at least the ones I know of) being this interested in my life.
What light can you shed on this subject for me?
Thank you!

Bread and wine are ancient GODLY symbols.
" Then Melchizedek king of Salem
brought out bread and wine;
he was the priest of God Most High."
- Genesis 14:18

The beginning of understanding is, as always, with the name first. The word "Malki-Tzedek," is two separate Hebrew words which mean king, and right or just. The two words together mean king of righteousness (Strong's Hebrew Dictionary #4428, 6664, 4442).

Melchizedek was directly appointed by YAHWEH to be King of Righteousness and King of Salem. In Hebrew, Salem means peaceful. Jerusalem means founded in peace, (Strong's Hebrew Dictionary #3389). Most Biblical scholars believe it means that he was King of the area we know today as Jerusalem (Ps.76:1-2). Jerusalem is the Holy City of the Bible, no other holy book of any other religion mentions Jerusalem.

Melchizedek was the Priest of the most high GOD. He was the first messianic 'like' figure recorded to occupy the area known today as Jerusalem. He also had the rare title of King-Priest, which will be used in the future by the prophesied Messiah (Ps.ch.110).

The Melchizedek Order is important to the Messianic church because Yahshua is the High Priest of the ancient Rites according to the order "Malki-Tzedek," or in English, Melchizedek, Hebrews 6:20. This mysterious order, first mentioned in Genesis 14:18, and is referenced eight times in the Bible (Gen.14:18-20; Ps.110:4; Heb.5:6,10, 6:20, 7:11, 17, 21). Coincidently, eight is the Biblical number of new beginnings (1Pet.3:20; Gen.17:12; 1Sam.16:1-12).

*BEWARE: Melchizedek is a Sacred Order not of this world. The earthly Believers are a peculiar treasure, kings and priests in training for this Heavenly Order (Exo.19:5-6; 1Pet.2:9). No mere mortal can change this Order, nor can anyone take this honor to himself (Heb.5:4). In other words once you get your "wings," then you will become part of this Heavenly Order - but not until then.

From the book The Mystical Rites of our CREATOR

I would, because all human beings deserve aid and comfort, despite any harm they've caused to others. It is not our duty to start a vendetta against someone.

I love it when religionists claim to accept "micro-evolution" but then try limit the process of evolution by claiming an invisible "macro" boundry exists. You have to wonder if they just cant do the math.

Where did this whole crazy idea of bounded evolution come from? Heres my theory...somewhere in a rural area. You see, many farmers are well aquainted with the reality of evolution. Massive grain bins are constantly under assualt by insects. Problem is, insecticides that once killed them off, no longer work, because insects in the area, through evolutionary processes, have breed new generations of chemical resistant bugs.

So when biologists explain why the insecticides are failing, the locals have the problem of evolution reality coming face to face with their false religion. Presto...we get the imaginary macro-evolutionary boundry.

I keep reading that the word "Anaconda" was derived from Tamil and Sinhalese to mean something along the lines of "elephant" and "killer". These languages are from Sri Lanka which have elephants. South America doesn't have elephants so why would english speakers call them "elephant killers" when they have never killed an elephant (I know names can be an exaggeration), let alone be on the same continent. I just don't understand how people can associate words to things that don't have any business being associated together. Any thoughts? I know this is random, but it bugs me. Also, if you have any other example of these, please feel free to add.

Those of you who believe in the theory of evolution what actual PROOF do you have that evolution is a reality?

PLEASE, no conjecture, theory, or rhetoric from 'scientists', but FACTUAL EVIDENCE you, yourself have seen.

(Notice this is the question most of you ask of Christians.

Now, it is your turn to tell us what YOUR proof is. Were you there to witness 'abiogenesis'?

Have you seen ANY animal or evidence of any animal that fits between species?

Don't tell me about the 'book' that you read, either.

Science books are written by MEN.)

{MY Book has 3 eye-witness accounts, 2 one-on-one interviews with eye-witnesses, and many accounts dictated by the Author. How many eye-witness accounts can YOU provide?}

The movie opens up with a moving shot of the universe and Kidman's voice saying, "there are many universes, and many earths, parallel to each other, worlds like yours where people souls live in their body, and worlds like mine, where their souls walk beside them...so many worlds, and connecting them is dust, dust was here before the witches, before everything."

This, I suppose would go contradict the thought that ‘God’ made Earth and nothing else. But it’s a fact that there are other blue-green planets about the same size and about the same distance from their sun as we are from ours.

When are people going to educate themselves?

It actually worked well as the person just looked at me and said "Oh forget it" and walked off.
Have you ever tried this out?
