Wow, the answers I've read so far let me know that we citizens of the Kingdom still have a lot of work to do while we're here on Earth.

God is more real to me know than ever before. I always believed in the Lord but did not have the relationship I have with him now. My understanding of who he is has grown from my experience and research. I've been doubtful just as everyone else at one point wondering "Is there really a God, and if so which one is the right one?" and so on.

But when I look at the world through Jesus' teachings it makes perfect sense. I spoken to and researched many of the most popular beliefs around the world and none make more sense than what Yah and Yeshua has taught us in the Holy Bible.

For example, the Bible tells us that each person was formed before they were ever born. That was hard for me to grasp until I had children. Watching them grow every day from birth I could see that their personality was there from day one. They just had to learn how this new body worked but as far as the type of person they were it was always there.

I could give more concrete facts but I wanted to focus on the wonderment of who God is, and to me humans alone are a marvel. How could you say life just formed out of nothing, or an accident or just evolved form a lower life form. There are so many intricate details to each and every one of us that it's hard to beleive there is not a God.

I believe that science proves there is a God. If you have read the bible and have a relationship with the Lord then you would know that God is logical and orderly just like science. In fact, he created science. We can calculate so many things on earth with equations. Numbers are at the foundation of everything we know. Numbers are logical and ordered. How can order come from disorder without a logical ordered intity to put everything together? The source of the big bang was the power of God!

Just to close out on what could run on forever, I see God as love. He and his children are love. Love is for people and people are love. If we all showed a little more love towards one another then we would see a bit of God in us all.

Its not my image of God that has changed over time. It's the Bible and the fact that it was written by MEN and is slanted to benefit them. I DO believe in God Jehovah. But I don't neccessarily believe in the misogynistic words of the Good Book.

I used to believe whole-heartedly that he was real, that there was something out there "watching over us all". About the time I started school, it didn't matter how much I prayed, how much I believed, he just stopped caring about how I felt on a day to day basis. Eventually I got angry with his total negligence, and started to wonder. The more I wondered, the harder it was to believe. The more I questioned what the church and the bible told me, the more I knew I'd never believe again. For a while, I felt like I was sinking, and needed something to believe in. As I researched other religions, I developed an interest in just knowing what people believed, and not needing to believe in any of it myself. I was just too curious to believe in any one particular God.

I think 100s of years ago most peoples lives revovled around God. Now, we are way to concerned with pop culture that we don't take enough time to spen religously. Lets all take a break from our social lives and spend a bit of time on something that can actually change you.

God, as a father figure, does not appeal to me. This scenario leaves the impression that we are little more than children who are not of the age of accountability.
I lost a good father when I was seven. My step was very mentally and emotionally abusive to me and my siblings. Human fathers can be far from perfect.
I see God as the source of intelligence and good sense, morality, and the epitome of all good human values. I also believe He is a person as the Bible speaks of Him as such with emotions similar to humans.

From anger towards God to realizing that we were given complete freedom of choice and that sadly, the innocent are mostly paying for the bad choices of others.
It's now up to us to redress the wrongs. A daunting task, no less. I seek for the good in this world I love.

When I was little, He was that old guy in a chair in the sky.
I now see God as neither male or female, but more like the Divine Creator or Great Spirit.

I have gone from being a devout atheist, one was wallowing in man's pitiful knowledge known as science, to worshiping our Lord God "in Spirit and in Truth" (John 4:24)

From Christian to Pagan. Now God is in the forest and the wild wood, the sun and moon, the rain and wind. God is everything, everywhere, always. He is my Father and She is my Mother.
