I was looking at a website today; www.carm.org. Tricky question it is, the answer was yes. I know all sins are forgivable. What if you don't have time to repent before you actually die? Are you still forgiven.

Sure we are smart and far intelligent than you are but isn't it too presumptuous to label us all, 'Einstein'?

I can agree with this one point from the believer's stand point..

It sure would make life easier if there were an all powerful being watching over all of us, and fixing our problems...

It would also be nice to find a genie in a lamp...

Do you ever wish that you were wrong?
(not saying "wishing" will make it happen, but have you considered it?)

the original text of moses are lost. after a few years eziel and jeramiah found some copies then they translated it with were lost again by 2 centruy. some copies were found later and copied into many religions. 13000 bits and pieces r found now which has been translated and retranslated a 100 times in the last 300 years because the first editions were always full of mistakes.
the one we have now is it authentic or after a few years another edition with come up with different translations.

While we're all supposed to be tiptoeing around trying not to offend anybody, it's forcing us to treat people differently on the basis of their race or culture - which is exactly what we're not meant to do.

My son, in his last year of primary, will not be taking part in a nativity play this year because it's not considered "inclusive". This really makes me cross.

Quite a few years ago I spent Christmas in Kuwait - which, quite obviously does not celebrate it. In spite of this though, the main shopping centre had some (limited) decorations, and all the Kuwaiti nationals graciously wished us Happy Christmas and were interested to see how we celebrated it.

At no time was there the merest hint that we were disrespecting them by having celebrations in their own country - they looked on with a kind of amused indulgence. Yet we're supposed to believe that anyone from a different religion would be devastated at us celebrating our own festival in our own country.

Utter bollocks.

I am seeing five gentlemen every day.

As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed.

Then I go to see John.

Then Charlie Horse comes along. And when he is here he takes a lot of my time and attention.

When he leaves, Art Ritis shows up and stays the rest of the day. He doesn't like to stay in one place very long, so he takes me from joint to joint.

After such a busy day, I'm really tired and glad to go to bed with Ben Gay.

The emerald cockroach wasp (Ampulex compressa) relies on cockroaches for its grisly life cycle. The wasp's sting leaves the cockroach able to walk, but unable to initiate its own movement. It then administers another, more precise sting right into their victim's brain. The venom works to block a neurotransmitter called octopamine which is involved in preparations to execute complex behaviors such as walking.
The wasp then grabs the cockroach's antenna and leads it back to the nest. The cockroach walks "like a dog on a leash". Once home, the merciless wasp lays an egg on the docile cockroach's belly, and the larva, once hatched, devours the hapless insect.

The word RAPTURE is not in the Bible anywhere.
Where does this idea of a RAPTURE COME FROM?
I know that Jesus is coming back as He promised in MANY passages but why preach THE RAPTURE when Jesus Himself never used this word?

How do we benefit from having free will?

Couldn't an omnipotent God have provided us with any strength, appreciation, happiness, or knowledge that we gain from experience making decisions?

Is the only benefit of free will (to us) trials, tests, hardships, and the possibility of hell?

If God is so perfect and loving, why would he condemn millions to a fiery fate when he's the one who created them with sin in the first place?

I'm beginning to think there isn't a Hell but rather a type of limbo where people go until they repent their sins for good. Then, they go to Heaven with everyone else. It seems to make more sense than a loving God punishing so many for eternity for sins that can be forgiven in time.

If he tells us to forgive no matter what, why doesn't he follow suit?

The issue of creationism can be settled once and for all by the courts. If there is a murder, and the police find fingerprints and DNA and match those fingerprints and DNA to a suspect--the prosecution will argue that there is no other person on the planet with those two unique characteristics. A good creationist lawyer can argue that God created the world as it is, he therefore could create more than one man with identical fingerprints and DNA. If this is true, then whether God did or not is immaterial--he could. This leaves an element of doubt as to whether the killer is the killer. That God is all powerful should make that doubt a reasonable one if creationsim is correct. Logically, the man would have to be released via reasonable doubt. The court would have no recourse before allowing this arguement but to decide the question of creationsim vs evolution. Regardless what that decision is, one side or the other would appeal all the way to the supreme court.

Almost everyday, there are tv programs predicting the end of life on Earth through an asteroid, comet, meteor or blackhole but NOTHING ever happens. It's like the rapture people.
There are people teaching that Jesus is coming back to Earth and that His coming is imminent but NOTHING ever happens.

Your reply???
