A woman in Iowa asked if he felt that the "God of the Bible" was evening listening to Mitt Romney's prayers. Huckabee replied, "I'm glad you've made your choice for me. I don't care why." http://news.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/op_ed/view.bg?articleid=1047704

What does that even mean? "It's okay for you to be bigoted, as long as you vote for me"? He had a chance to stand up and say, "We each have the Constitutional right to worship however we want to"; or, "God listens to each of His children who pray in faith." He's a Baptist minister. There's no way he's never thought about whether the prayers of Mormons make it through to God.

So the question is, did he not answer because he agrees with the woman and didn't want people to know that he's intolerant; or does he believe that Mormon prayers are heard and answered but he's just too much of a coward to say so?

Just before the first of every month, the management slips a calendar (with tenants birthdays & other events filled in) for the next month under our doors. The first birthday I had here my name didn't appear on the calendar for my birthday. So, I mentioned it to the management so they could update their records. She apologized & put a notice in the elevator & on the wall in the community room letting everybody know my birthday was on the 4th. I felt a little embarrassed to be singled out like that. But, the next year I was included. Now, this year I just got my calendar page for December & started looking to see what events & birthdays were coming up & noticed I was left out again!! I feel kind of sad about it as I have no family & it is kind of nice to have your neighbors tell you "happy birthday". What should I do? My birthday is Dec.4th and it's too late to put out a new calendar. It hurts a little to see other people's names down on their birth date and mine is blank.

I can't be the only one who is sick of the media making it seem just fine to dwell on the most superficial things. Most people don't even realize how rude or disrespectful they can be. I feel like we could all be more caring and kind towards others. It's really not that hard. It just makes me sad that we are hurting ourselves by hurting others, but we are not even aware.

I sequence songs to my Christmas lights. I am looking for some songs for next year and I leave it to the Christmas fans here on YA to point me in the right direction.

I want to know your favorite Christmas Song and the Artist (I need to be able to find it on I-tunes or some other legal pay per song site).

I prefer an up tempo song, but will consider slow songs with a good melody.

Thanks for your answers

PS: Serious answers only, unless you want 2 points.

Have a great Holiday Season and Merry Christmas!

Songs I have done in the past:

TSO's Wizard in Winter
TSO's Christmas Eve Sarajevo
Mannheim Steamroller's Carol of the Bells and Stille Nacht
Linus and Lucy - Vince G. Trio
Baby It's Cold Outside
Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt
I Want A Hippo for Christmas
Christmastime is Near (by the Charlie Brown Singers)
and many more.

Please include artists. For example there are several hundred versions of Silent Night. I want to be able to find your favorite version and artist.

What is so insulting that a woman is jailed and has death threats for naming a Teddy Bear Mohammad. Shouldn't it be a complement? We named the bear after one of our greatest presidents. What is so offensive to Islam?

God is Love.
Three Persons in One Nature (essence)
Father generates the Son.
Father and Son spirate the Holy Spirit.
The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit.
The Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son.
The persons in God are equal to each other.
Jesus is God by nature and Man by nature.
Jesus is a Divine Person, he had no human person.
Jesus has a human and divine will. (2 wills)
Jesus has a human and divine intellect.(2 intellects)
Jesus never sinned and was and is without sin.
Jesus in his human intellect learned as a man.
God is eternal.
God is all powerful.
God knows all things.
God is everywhere.
God is His attributes.
The Second Person of the Trinity became Man and died for us.
Father is the first person of the Blessed Trinity.
Son is the Second person of the Blessed Trinity.
Holy Spirit is the third person of the Blessed Trinity.
The Son is God by Nature, Person, intellect and Will.

I watched the movie Boondock Saints and I KNOW, its just a movie. But, it made me wonder.....If there were people, good people, who felt they had permission from God to go and kill any evildoers...would they go to heaven? They know what they're doing is wrong. They BELIEVE, isn't that all it takes? They repent of their sins.
But they never give those men their chance to come to faith, either...or maybe change their ways. Although, who knows if they would change their ways.
They play God. They kill in his name.
& yet they're good people who'd never harm any good person. They obey all laws, except that of not murdering people...or The Fifth Commandment. If you're guilty of breaking one, you're guilty of breaking them all.

& yet those type of people, who play God, yet believe and know the price Jesus paid for the world....They Can Still Go To Heaven, can't they? Even if they continue doing that until they too die?

There is this woman at my doctor's office. She wears a full length dress with long sleeves that looks like it's from 1800s. Always bright colors though. She wears like a white hat on her head and and a net around her hair. She's not Amish though cuz she works with computers. I'm from the mid east so I'm not familiar, I'm too embarrassed to ask her personally but curiosity is killing me. It's definitely a religious thing cuz she's always dressed that way.

At a business function a raffle was being held for some prizes. An individual who was leaving early, handed me his raffle ticket and said "here take it, i'm not going to be here, so if anything it's yours". His ticket number was the one called and being that he gave me the ticket, and had left the event, i claimed the prize. Who does the prize belong to, him or I?

only true religious group??

Many different groups ( Watchtower Society, Mormons, Roman Catholics, Unification Church, etc ) claim that they are the only organization that properly represents Jehovah God on earth.

Obviously, not everyone can be right. Each organzation claims to be right and all other organizations are wrong. A group that claims to be God's exclusive channel of communication on this earth should have distinctive doctrines which no other group has.

Rudiments of the Catholic Church take shape in 250 A.D. when the Lapsii (Idol Worshippers) are accepted into churches by some.

Tired of having their faith & baptism rejected by the Cathari, and seeking relief from persecution the Lapsii submit to Emperor Constantine in 325 A.D.

Gregory organizes the Catholic Church as we know at the end of the 6th Century.
