I watched the movie Boondock Saints and I KNOW, its just a movie. But, it made me wonder.....If there were people, good people, who felt they had permission from God to go and kill any evildoers...would they go to heaven? They know what they're doing is wrong. They BELIEVE, isn't that all it takes? They repent of their sins.
But they never give those men their chance to come to faith, either...or maybe change their ways. Although, who knows if they would change their ways.
They play God. They kill in his name.
& yet they're good people who'd never harm any good person. They obey all laws, except that of not murdering people...or The Fifth Commandment. If you're guilty of breaking one, you're guilty of breaking them all.

& yet those type of people, who play God, yet believe and know the price Jesus paid for the world....They Can Still Go To Heaven, can't they? Even if they continue doing that until they too die?

A murderer does not have God in his heart. I think that means you can't be saved at the time you commit a murder.

You can be a murderer, then repent of your sins and get saved and go to Heaven.
Paul did it. Son of Sam did it.

According to Christian doctrine the only thing that is unforgivable is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Other than that you can live your whole life hurting people in any imaginable form and repent and go to Heaven. That's why I have such a problem with Christianity- the lack of personal accountability.

God will not tell you to murder, but if you do and truly repent and ask God for forgiveness and ask Jesus to be your Lord and savior, you can be forgiven. All those who have changed from their wicked ways and have Jesus in their heart will go to heaven.

Yes, if they ask forgiveness and repent and ask Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

In heaven we do not have our free will anymore, so it is a very safe place.

wow, thats a tough question. i have a real problem with this whole repent your sins and you can go to heaven. because a murder can repent there sins and go to heaven, but what about gay people, or people who simply don't believe in god. i think thats a whole lot less bad that murder. in my opion killing is still killing no matter whos name it is in.
