Ok i don't know about you guys but I can not stand people who chew loud. If im eating dinner with my dad (who chews loud) I seriously want to reach across the table and punch him in the face, it just really really annoys me. Does anyone else feel this? lol

What does the Bible REALLY say about suicide?? is it ok if you kill yourself just bec/ you can't take it anymore? I meet alot people who think about it and I never know what to say! where does it talk about it? I liked it in KJ if you can, if not then NKJ. All are ok as long as its NOT NIV.

In this section alone there are a large number of people who bully and put down other for their beliefs, while even more point the finger at someone else for the problems and wrongs in the world. There also seems to be in this section hatred venom and malice in over half of the questions and close to that of the answers given to questions. There also appear to be people who go out of their way to put down and criticize others in their answers to questions that would have very little to do with them personally.

To be clear here, these people come from both sides of the tracks and from what appears to be all walks of life and all religious and social backgrounds.

Is all of this hatred and animosity really needed, why? What do these people get out of this extremely anti-social behaviour?

one of the first things I noticed after moving to Idaho was an open policy about religion in public. Driving on the main freeway you will see a billboard with scriptures. The first school play we went to they openly sung songs of Jesus's birth and the play had religion overtones. It was very refreshing and freeing to see this since being from California this was a BIG no,no. Since moving here Idaho has become one of the fastest growing states in the past two years. Many Californians have moved in bringing their Californian views on religion and state. One of the first thing that was petitioned and challenged was the ten commanments that had always been mounted in the park. Battle stands taken on both sides made the news often. Because of this and a few other things, Idahoans hate Californians and loothe the idea of them moving in.

My question: Who is in the right here and why , in regards to religion?

Why are little kids taught to believe in stuff like Santa Claus? I mean when you were a kid, you REALLY believed in Santa. You thought he was as real as your parents. You tried to be a good kid all year for awesome gifts. Is it to get children ready for the brain wash into religion? I think Christians are brought into it at such a young age (the same time you learned about Santa) to brain wash them easier into believing in a vengeful god. What do you think?

Some people, like Richard Roberts, claim that God talks to them and tells them to do all kinds of things.

So my question is - When people do something that they say God told them to do -

How do you know they are right?
How do you know God really was talking to them?
And what do you think about someone who sincerely believes that God told them to something that you think is bad?

If it is just in their heads and nobody else is a witness then can't they justify ANY ACTIONS by saying that God told them to?

i never used to tell my kids i was proud of them when i was 18 or 19, i was so embarrased as i was never told as a child,but as i got older i was able to tell them without any shame, i feel my older kids missed out ...but they dont...but nowadays i can say im sorry i was in a bad humour, and tell them i love them no problem, but i could not do this when i was a young mum.. anyone else feel they were better as a mature parent..
