it depends on the situation and on how you chose to stand up for yourself. the most important thing is to hold onto your integrity and stay true to yourself. if that means being quiet or standing up, then so be it.

I think you can stand up for yourself, by setting boundaries. This is simple and to the point. You don't need to defend your honor put you do need to let people know where you draw the line.
