Grew up Italian Catholic..
My mom believes that the Church and the POPE is her God!
She stated that to me when I tried to explain about God in the bible.
The Catholics believe that the POPE intercedes for us with God, Christians believe that Jesus is the ambassador to God for us.
Catholics believe that Mary was a Virgin and died a Virgin.
The Bible said, and Christians believe, that Mary was a Virgin while carrying Jesus, but had other Children after him.
Catholics believe that Mary went to Heaven BODY and soul.
Well the Bible says that a physical body cannot survive in HEAVEN, and Jesus even had to be resurrected as a spirit to go to Heaven!
Oh as for Angels, every one believes in them!
And most are wrong, both Catholics and Non Catholics.
Because if you read the Bible, NO angles are cute babies(Cherubs) They are the fierce guardians of Gods throne.
No angels are female, all are mighty male warriors
Some are the messengers of God, all listed as males when visiting the earth!
I believe in angels because the bible lists them many times in many capacities while serving God Almighty. Good enough for me...except, none are cute babies, or female! really! read the entire BIBLE. never happened!

Well technically catholics are "christians" but protestants dont think so because they think catholics are worshipping a pagan version of Christ....or so i heard in some gossip talk. Angels to some are dead people while to most protestants they are a different class of beings that existed before humans ever did.

I say angels are aliens. So far i havn't dared to sneak into area 51 and hop in a saucer...

Catholics you could say is like a section of Christianity, like Nike is to a shoe. It's a different perspective. Christianity, is defined as a follower of Christ. I'm a Christian, and believe in angels, and most Christians do.
