I sleep on the left.

If single, you sleep anywhere on the bed you want, but if married, the man is supposed to sleep closest to the door to protect his woman. I sleep on the right and the dog sleeps in the middle and left and as much of the right as she can get!

If you're facing the bed I sleep on the left side. My boyfriend sleeps on the right....the side closest to the door. it's like a safe haven....if something happens like a burglar....my boyfriend thinks I'd be safer away from the door.

For ages I have slept on the left side because when I stayed with my boyfrined he usually slept on my right side - I just find it comforting. BUT since we broke up I've been taking the whole bed baby!!!!

Well it depends on the perspective you're looking at the bed from. When I'm laying down it's the left but if I look at it standing up it's the right... : )
