Jehova witnesses are so mean, they don't believe in the living Jesus and they have mutilated our Bible. What do yo think?

You're *SO* wrong. I've known many 'Witnesses and they've been really nice people. You have no idea what a J.W. is, do you? I'm actually surprised this isn't a post about Mormons... or is that next?

No, I think you need to look of the definition of mean. There are many telling lies here. The guy who said he was raised a JW and was told he would burn in hell....We don't believe that hell is a burning place of torment, but just the common grave of mankind. Another guy said we were started by a criminal??? That is not true at all. Eight of our brothers from in 1918 were arrested and falsely charged with treason. These charges were brought on by the clergy of the time. The charges were all dropped and they were released.

If someone is not interested, just have your name put on a "do not call" list. Believe me our time is precious to us also, we have jobs and houses to clean and lawns to mow like everyone else. We don't want to waste our time anymore than we waste yours. We are sincere people just trying to follow Jesus example of going door to door looking for sheep like ones to share the good news of the kingdom.

Matt 24:14 "This good news of the kingdom will be preached to all the inhabited earth, as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come."

I think you are repeating a stereotype someone else said. I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. To say I am mean, is quite an assumption since we haven't met, as far as I know:D.

We of course believe in Jesus and that he still exists. As for mutilating "our Bible". Offer proof, ANY.

Please undertand repeating something someone else says doesn't make it true.

I think that it is extremely immature to stereotype people and assume that all members of a certain group are one and the same. I myself am an atheist, so I have no such preconceptions about other people. How would you like it if someone said that all Christians are stupid and like to get drunk? Any Jehovah's Witness who read this question would be very offended.

Yes, an aunt of mine who lives in the mountains. She tried to get me to worship a blue cow. How could I do that? I eat beef.

Yes, Yes, and Yes. I personally have never met a jehova witness that didn't want to convert me to their religion. Or, it could have been the mormons that came to my door. I mean, I've been told that I was committing a sin because I meditate with a Buddah.

MEAN? Well if you call doing what Jesus instructed his followers to do,(preaching door to door) then I guess we are the meanest people on earth.

no i never have. the witnesses in my area must be different from the ones in most places. they are usually pretty laid back and if you tell them you're not interested they just leave a couple of watchtowers and go.

They've always seemed perfectly lovely to me. A little sure of themselves, but most people are. No worse than most Christians, but often more polite.

Being Pagan, I'm not interested in what they're preaching, but I respect their enthusiasm for what they believe to be the truth.

I think thay need to stop going to peoples house. Thay are very hard to get rid of. One of them came to my house a few years ago and had a small child with her. The child was having a problem standing steal and she slapped him on the head. I told her that slapping him was wrong. She didn't like that at all. He problem had to go to the bath room. I told her not to come back.
