I need some ideas of some homemade food gifts for Christmas. My cousins (9 of us) all buy for each other. I would like to spend no more than about $5 per person, so I thought homemade food thing would be good. Or, maybe some inexpensive food gift ideas would be nice. Thanks!

I've been try to think of a time when Christianity brought peace to a region. Going through history when Christians come into power they immediately go to war with pagans and other Christians who don't believe exactly what they do. The Romans and Egyptians however were very tolerant of other peoples believes.

...but as of late, I've gotten VERY bored with life. I have begun thinking that volunteering in some capacity, would aleviate that a bit. HOWEVER!, ( and this is where I start looking bad ) I want to get something out of it!...something tangible... Where are all the SINGLE WOMEN volunteering? 'Cause that's where I want to volunteer! I know that the act itself is supposed to be enough reward...but whatever! all the women I meet at work are married, and all the women I meet at the bar...well, thier just not my type. So, any suggestions?

well here it goes,
most days we me and my husband go out w/or w/out or child...

i get this.. either a crowd around making gestures, bumping into me,extreme staring, and then when it comes to our child strangers act like it is okay to speak to our child in such a way like they actually know out child.

the other day a family of women attempted to start an arguement stating" i was all up on - - - - head" when in fact i was watching out child and waiting on my husband and this female stepped right in front of me,i mean i could of licked her if i stuck my tounge out.. instead of her walking around(plenty of room) she decided not to.
and so i turned my head as she was doing so and then a large group of females decided to eyeball me and talk "smack"

It's been thoroughly debunked and even failed to present a good case to be considered science, yet many religious people still believe that it is a viable contender among origins studies.

and tax money was spent to search for his house at the North Pole... every home was required to keep a supply of cookies and milk... Government buildings posting a list of things Santa found naughty and nice.... your day is often interrupted by people pausing to think about their Christmas list... "One nation with the help of Elves" isn't considered a violation of Church and State because it doesn't specify which elves.... and there was a debate over whether Reindeer Anatomy should be taught in public school --

even if you didn't believe in Santa, would you find yourself debating his existence?

women could give up their babies for adoption easier? I've known girls who wanted to give up their babies for adoption but their families were hell bent on keeping the baby. May be thats why some choose to get an abortion and not tell anyone because their families might disown them if they carry the baby to term and put him/her up for adoption. People should respect the mother's decision.

Matthew 7:7-8:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

Questions:
1) When I, as an atheist, sat down to read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to prove it wrong and foolish…why then, did God reveal Himself to me?

Was it that deep within my heart and soul, I was in search of truth…despite attacking the “strawman” of Christianity that I (and society) had created?

2) Why is it that God does not reveal Himself to others, who adamantly state that they did ask, seek, and knock?

Is it because they do not truly seek truth, only seek to “test God”, seek only what they can get from Him rather than seeking God Himself, or aren’t searching with all their heart and soul?

I "adopted" a few families to give Christmas presents to this year. They have no money and whatever I get them is all the Christmas they are going to have. I am getting each family member a stocking filled with stuff, one package with clothes in it, and one toy. Is that enough or should I do more? Any ideas?? There are a total of 11 people, maybe more to come.

I was in Sephora the other day, normally they are pretty good about helping people with finding exactly what they need, but not the last 2 times I've been there. I was looking for some beauty tools, I asked the lady, who so happen to be one of the Leads (managers) of the store, for an eyelash comb, & she hands me an $18 eyebrow razor/eyelash/brow comb brush combo. I looked a little harder & found a plan & simple eyelash comb for $5! I don't need to shave my eyebrow, they have a perfect arch! Then I was looking for a particular anlge on a brush for my eye liner, & I asked an different sales person for help. She hands me an $23 brush, which once again wasn't the brush I described but she said it would do the exact same thing. I looked again a little harder & found the brush I was looking for it cost $8. I used to go there because I could find quality beauty tools at reasonable prices, now its like they are trying to dictate how much I should spend in there store. Has this happend to u?

Apologies for re-writing this... but, it was kind of fun, it needed more of an expansion (...what was this, emailed through myspace or something?). Mine is "Anthony President"... or, maybe Tony Prez, I guess.. to be cooler?
