I mean it makes a lot more sense than being in the religion section.
Just live and let live you know.

Do you think there are no atheists in Philosophy discussing philosophy? The topic here is Religion and Spirituality, and the questions are on matters pertaining to the subject. Do you think that cats are asking the questions in Cats?

~~~ erickall ,,, And just where did you find "the philosophy section"? I am indeed a Spiritual Atheist but I have no idea what your definition of a "Secular Philosophy" is. Perhaps you could elaborate so that I may answer you. ~ Namaste`
Well, I think the whole forum of R&S should move to philosophy and myths and folklore.
As a non-believer, I come on here to have fun and get a coupla good laughs at the Christees expense. It's fun to rile 'em up and watch them fall into their bible-babble.
Sheesh, you guys are sooooo funny.
Atheism is the rejection of religion. That means it is ABOUT religion. So this is the place to talk about it. And this question gets asked like 50 times a day. Are you guys really that insecure that you can't take criticism?
Not when the Atheists are spiritual and want to discuss religion and spirituality...
Re: additional details
I would be happy to hear any evidence you propose for the godhead of Jesus if you will only be equally open to hearing the arguments against such a "God" theory...
No, the presence of atheists here can help them understand other people's religions and I believe many of them learn a lot of things here and believe in G-d after using this website. Yahoo Answers is a public website. Everybody is welcome wherever they want.
Also this forum is called Religion and SPIRITULITY. Regardless of what atheists believe in, they still have spirituality and they have the right to speak up for it.
Are you asking a question in R&S directed towards atheists? Have you counted the number of other questions directed towards atheists in R&S?
You do realize that subcategory questions are reflected in the parent category? I rarely hang out in just R&S, but I do have an interest in S&C...
One goes where one can be the most help. I go where the need is greatest. This is the same reason why you see so many priests and ministers in strip clubs. You don't think they go there for the entertainment do you.
A religion is a set of beliefs.
As atheists generally believe in observable phenomena, science, and fact, their beliefs ARE a religion.
Atheist's don't believe in a God, so it is right in my view that they discuss those beliefs with people that do in the Religion and Spirituality section.
