I need some ideas of some homemade food gifts for Christmas. My cousins (9 of us) all buy for each other. I would like to spend no more than about $5 per person, so I thought homemade food thing would be good. Or, maybe some inexpensive food gift ideas would be nice. Thanks!

You could bake a bunch of cookies and/or brownies.

You could make pot holders. (easy to make and inexpensive)

Taste of Home has a Christmas magazine out that has a lot of jar mixes that you could assemble and there is directions on a seperate card to include with your jars of cookie mixes or what ever you make. That might help. You should be able to pick it up anywhere magazines are sold I would think, I got it at a convience store.

you can put all the ingredients to a treat, like a brownie, inside a glass jar and then tell them that all they need to do is add eggs or butter and bake. I saw those gifts at Saks and the idea was pretty cool. They also are solded at discount stores lie Filene's basement and Marshalls and such.
