As-salamualaikum, brothers and sisters.

I am just curious to know if all of your female cousins (specifically those who have reached puberty) wear the hijab. I am not talking about the female adults in your family---I am talking about your female teenage cousins.

Just wondering because I am the only teenager out of my extended family (meaning first cousins) who wears the hijab, which is kind of sad because it is a rule that all girls must cover. They do their prayers and read the Quran and etc, but are not very conservative.

I would appreciate it greatly if the Islam bashers would kindly keep their comments to themselves.

Or do you always require very strong personally accepted evidence to support someone's claims?

is this a doctrine of some sort cos i keep getting this from many christians yet as a catholic christian this sounds totally illogical to me.

using this logic a 5yr old (who knows stealing is wrong) if he/she steals a cookie from the corner shop will therefore be as disgusting (and deserving of the same punishment) to the Lord God as (for example) a "rapist" or a "murderer" of a 5yr old thief?

Even man's laws can see the difference!!

TOTALLY ILLOGICAL that God will judge it equally abhorrent

be interesting to hear from atheist and non-christians too

When I was a teenager, I woke up to catch one reaching for my face. Why do they do that? Anyone have an idea? And please, no repeat answers.

for anything you might want to buy, and I tried to tell it to you, you'd pay rapt attention, wouldn't you?
If I knew some medical procedure that would prolong your life by, say, 50 years, you'd want to know about it, wouldn't you?

So, why, when someone cares enough about you to try to tell you what they believe is the secret to eternal life, would you get offended??

My co worker is always brushing me off in front of everyone. There has to be a crowd for his little act. I start speaking in a friendly manner to him and in front of these people he gives me a major f*** you. Like buzz off. Then at times he will come to me and act normally when no one is around. I know someone there dosen't like me and i think it's for reasons they can't measure up to me and they are also 'friends' with him. Why you think someone would start snubbing another person out of the blue and making smart as* comments to them and about them when a month ago they were a different person? He won't even say what I did, do you think he heard something about me?

We aren't dating, but she's a close friend of mine. Admittedly, I don't know if she's bisexual or lesbian or anything like that, but I do wonder sometimes.

Still, I've already decided that I'm not going to ask about her sexual orientation. I guess I'm one of those people who believes that "love knows no gender", so it's kind of irrelevant in my eyes.

I know that it's impossible to make someone fall in love with you, but also think it's very possible to lead someone in that direction. Love is a psychological thing, after all.

Any fool can say "I love you", but I want to be able to show it through my actions first. And I don't want to screw this up.

Any advice?
