Definetly pumpkin pie for thanksgiving. Not only is it traditional but was the pie that was baked on the pilgrims first thanksgiving.

Apple in my family. None of us care much for pumpkin.

Home-made or store bought?

We buy ours from Village Inn. I am not much of a baker. I cook a lot of main dishes, but baking is a weak point. So it's Village Inn pies for us this year!
