I often listen to online lectures like Chabad site. I am curious if you have heard some really good ones? There was one from a School in PA I believe but forgot his name. Anyone know who that is also?

I will try to be fair and tell the story from both standpoints. Firstly, my boyfriend and I have completely different taste in music. I listen to rock, he listens to hip hop, rap, funk (which I do like), and techno. I was listening to the Smashing Pumpkins loudly waiting for him to come home. He walks in talking to his friend on the phone, and makes a face like " Whoa", and then says the equivalent (he speaks a different language) to "dude, listen to this music"...and then holds up the phone for him to hear it, and then they laugh. I get pissed for two reasons: If I ever have anything to say about his music choice or the volume I can expect a snappy remark from him so usually I try to keep my opinion to myself for his happiness, and I felt like if he wants to make fun of the things I like to his friend then it feels the same as if he is making fun of me. I stormed in the other room and shut the music off. He says "what the hell is your problem"?
Do I have a right to be upset?

our GOD should not be blamed for any kind of disasters on earth, cause we, all the world are choosing to go our own way and not his, because of what we choose, GOD is punishing us, so we should blame ourselves! don't you think so?

That being born again is being water baptized into their Church?

Then they write John3 & don't write the whole thing & say this proves that being born again means being water baptized in their Church?

Jesus clearly said that being born of water is being birthed from our mother into this world. The first person is born flesh. The second peson is born spiritual. The being born again is because of spiritual death/blindness. We all do this (die/blinded/hardened conscience) when we rebel against Gods love & truth. So? we must be born again. Born of the Spirit.

Born of the spirit isn't water baptism. It is God puting a Holy Seed in our souls that is our new born spiritman.

And Catholics & Mormons use John3. If you use John3:5, you should write it as it is written in the bible, including what is written about being born of water & the spirit. John3:6 is That who is born of the flesh is flesh (human) & that who is born of the Spirit is spirit (spiritual human).

is it illogical and unreasonable for humans to attempt to argue for his existence using logical and rational arguments?

I mean, I disagree with them, but you gotta give them credit:

Atheists are the most ballsiest people on the planet. You gotta give it up to a group of people willing to risk eternal damnation (presumably) because of things like "logic" and "evidence" and "science".

I'm hitting the bar tonight, and I'm having one on you. Even if you're a woman, you're much more of a man than I.

I'd hate to spell it out for ya, but I kinda have to. This question is not meant for the "Live and let live" atheists (my favorite kind), but rather the "Take God out of money, schools, and everything else" kind of atheist (my least favorite kind and the objects of my ridicule).

Not by mans will but by the will of God?

We must be born of water= made flesh & we must be born from above= born spiritual.

Being born of water means being born into this world a human. Not water baptism.

When a person is born again, born of His Spirit, then the anointing, the Spirit is with this person & will fill this person. When the filling of the Holy Spirit happens, this is baptized in His Spirit. But the born spiritually is the new born spirit in the persons soul. The body & mind isn't reborn yet. That won't happen till resurrection day.

Doesn't this mean that when we are water baptized that we aren't born again a new flesh yet, that it represents dieing to the old man flesh & washed clean in His blood & raised up with Chirst, new spiritual person?

Doesn't it represents the death & resurrection of Christ, & we are baptized into His death & raised up in His Resurrection?. And we will raise up like Him on resurrection day?

Saturday I tried this...with real people and everything.
I am really not trying to be "snarky" on this one, because it all reality with the assistance of alcohol people bring there inhibitions down and open up a lot more. I asked questions and I found that even with the amount of alcohol in my system nothing still seemed feasiable.
However I did discover that playing the "drinking" game in real context was much more difficult..in keeping up that is.
So I am wondering if anyone has had any luck converting another person under the infuence of alcohol?
Thanks.
