Yes, the troubles we face on earth are the result of our sinful ways.

God doesn't punish his children and he is not to blame for natural occurrances on earth. I agree that he is not at fault, but we cannot blame ourselves for natural disasters either. We are victims of nature.

Why would you deny God the legacy He boasts of?
You'll credit God for the "good" when you see it, and choose to interpret calamity as "bad," and yet God destroys planets, countries, cities, and cultures repeatedly in your holy book - he is CREDITED on Sunday for having done this, but if it happens today, are you so bold as to claim that it is NOT of God? How can you be sure God isn't doing like he used to?

As an atheist, I agree that god shouldn't be blamed. But if you believe in god then ultimately he must be responsible either directly or indirectly, right?

It makes about as much sense to blame Santa for bad presents or unicorns for creating crop circles. Blaming anything imaginary for disasters is a futile thing to do.

All the good comes from God and all the Bad comes from us. God ask us to be good, so, why must we choose the wrong one?

I agree. It's amazing how people can blame God for anything, but not the people who have committed the crime.
I remember seeing on the news once a woman's who had just lost her husband and all she could say was "How could God do this to me?"
I have lost someone close to me as well, but I just remember thinking about how selfish that sounded. Here she was, she just lost her husband and she's blaming God for it and not even caring about her husband's loss, only her own.
God gave humans free will to do as we please, that's something most people forget. That's why people say things like "Well, my God wouldn't do that" or "How could God let innocent children die?" because they don't understand that we are given free will to do as we please.
It's people that cause the problems we have today, not God.

Your question equates god as nature.
The law of cause and effect is at work in the world today.
It is man punishing himself with his own selfish greed and ignorance, not any makebelieve god.
If you make polution, then somebody has to pay the price...!!

Its a little late fo placing blame at this point. However, I agree that we, God's creation, have made our own problems. Natural disasters not included.
