I mean, I disagree with them, but you gotta give them credit:

Atheists are the most ballsiest people on the planet. You gotta give it up to a group of people willing to risk eternal damnation (presumably) because of things like "logic" and "evidence" and "science".

I'm hitting the bar tonight, and I'm having one on you. Even if you're a woman, you're much more of a man than I.

I'd hate to spell it out for ya, but I kinda have to. This question is not meant for the "Live and let live" atheists (my favorite kind), but rather the "Take God out of money, schools, and everything else" kind of atheist (my least favorite kind and the objects of my ridicule).

I agree with you on live and let live.....I think the worst thing ever done was to take God out of schools.

Sorry, it's not take god out of anything, it's just keep god where it belongs. Any god or given group's morality does not belong in law, take a hard look at Islamic countries for a good example as to why. Hypotheses that have no supporting evidence should not be taught as science, especially not if they are merely cobbled together, poorly understood, misapplications of real principles.

Atheists are not the only ones risking eternal damnation. Each religion is only one of thousands; everyone risks not belonging to the right one, not to mention if there is a higher power, he might reward atheism and punish belief... there is no way to know.

Edit: I may be an atheist, but I think you need to be really assanine to get offended by "Merry Christmas".

Damn right I am!!!

I personally give the religious weirdos credit I would LOVE to be able to convince myself of the **** they do ... If only I was that convinced by some ridiculous book that has been shredded from its real form over the years .. Now if it was intact I MIGHT believe it but since King Salomon took out what he didn't want I don't want to hear that mans idea of religion .. Sorry but I refuse to go there.

This country is entering into a very dangerous situation. The reason this country is so great is because we have always been people who believe in God. This is why its on our currency, courthouses, etc.... Now you have people that want to throw God out of this county and eventually they will succeed but not without huge consequences. We will become like all of the rest of the third world countries then it will be too late.

Personally, I am a christian. I hate going on R&S anymore because of all the bashing and the fighting. I don't think it is right. If you want to witness to someone, I think your lifestyle and your words and actions should speak for themselves. People will believe what they want, and there is no use in hating on people to get your point across. Words are like nitroclyserine , it can heal hearts or blow up bridges.

Hahha - I used to tell a lame (now ex) boyfriend of mine that I was more of a man than he'd ever be!!! But I don't feel that way about you, Pete.

I think people are scared us because we won't drink the kool-aid. Everyone else drinks the kool-aid and follows down that merry path except us.

I just like to get them stirred up and angry. It's interesting to see how angry some people get because others have a religion. If I tell them that my God loves them and wish them a Merry Christmas, I'm not telling them "You should believe because I do".

thanks I think.

I think this is as close to a compliment that Christians can muster. Apparently I am either brave, or stupid and ignorant, I can't quite tell. But at least Jesus loves me, even if his followers think I deserve eternal torture, sickos.
