*facilitate means a strong influence or influence, not a direct cause For instance increasing the price of a product, will facilitate people to decrease consumption. Though if the person really enjoys the product and decides he/she rather spend the money, or if the people's wage increases - they might consume the same.

By "its very nature" I mean the intrinisic nature of the religion; not acts based on a blatant excuse that doesn't have a related connection to religious texts or ideas

A list, though by no means exhaustive, of religions: Native spirit worship, Catholicism, Christianity (Assemblies of God, Protestant, Baptist, Lutheran), Judaism, Buddhism, Scientology, Hinduism, Sikh, Islam (Shii'te and Sunni), Black Muslim

you can love and the evidence is that you feel it right??
and it's positive energy.
God is the same it's positive energy and you feel him in you.
If you have never felt it it's because you've never seached.
and you have never listened when he's there

Hi my name bregweidd and I'm an agnostic. It's been 18 days since I thought about whether or not there is a god.

Are you a member of Agnostics Anonymous?

This would be hilarious except that the people involved are elected officials.

I have a problem with the idea of giving people in the church title "Pastor".I think a pastor should be some one who has gone to school and studied. To just give the title, I find that misleading to every one. When some one is in charge of say, childrens ministries or music ministries, I don't have a problem with that.
I have questioned two of the actual pastors in the church and they refuse to answer.
Last night I found out that the title is bestowed on some of them so that they don't have to pay taxes and their rent is paid for by the church. Very crooked to me.
Church members what do you think?
No , I don't attend there any longer.

within themselves, going deep within to hear the voice of spirit, to feel their own feelings, to examine their own experiences and beliefs? Please, no offense, but I just see a pattern of fundamentalist preaching, proselytizing, and quoting, without the willingness to go deep, look at themselves, or share from the heart. This seems true of Christians, Buddhists, Course in Miracles students, agnostics, atheists, you name it. Could just be my observation or projection. So do not attack. Just tell me what you think.

Do people based their opinions of black people by listening to rap music? Just wanted to let sheltered people know that not all black people use the term and not all of us are concerned about it either.

So last night my boyfriend decides we are having Thanksgiving at our place - we have only been there a year, so this is my first Thanksgiving "out on my own". HELP! lol I cook regularly but nothing compared to an entire 'feast'! Luckily it will only be about 7 people. What do I need to do to prepare?! Any easy, quick advice you have. Thanks in advance!

They call themselves the "Hidden Children", yet, whether they are gothed out or sweeping the floor in a big flowing mumu, you can always spot them--They've bought out the entire azuregreen catalogue and are trying to wear it all at once! Who wears Gauntlets anymore, besides them? Dreamcatcher earrings, pentacles the size of hubcaps--the one who dies with the most lucky rocks wins, it seems...You can hear them jingling a mile away--whoever they're hiding from must be pretty stupid not to notice with all the bling they're wearing

Jesus flipped the tables over at the temple and drove away the money changers and said they had made the house of God a den of thieves. My question is, dont churches now a days do they same thing when they go around collecting money, or am I missing something. thanks!

the big question is: does it agree with science, or does it transcend science?

Do you want religion in science class?

Or should it be seperate from science class?

What does the Bible have to say about people being able to 'watch over' us after they're dead? I'm pretty sure it says something about them not being able to see the earth at all, because it'd be too depressing for Heaven. But where could I look this up in the bible? Thanks!
