I have an employee who talks about their religion constantly throughout the workday. It sometimes turns into arguments between the staff. I have told this person to talk about other things like work, but it doesn't get through. Im tired of it and am perfectly within my right to fire the person according to my lawyer. What should I do?

Christians for example... 2/3's of the world are not Christian. And many Christians think that only their particular denomination is correct while others are wrong.

Yet ALL people of all faiths believe God has spoken to them. Muslims and Jews say they KNOW they have the one, true book of God. Hindus know they have the most compassionate and historically accurate texts that could only have been divinely inspired.

Muslims KNOW that if one does not follow the Koran, one will go to hell.

So what have YOU done DIFFERENTLY to make sure you are not deluded like these other folks?

Thanks in advance.

only one more POPE after the current one?

For years I kept hearing that the last Pope will be the Anti-Christ, or something to the matter. Then I came across story about the St. Malachy Prophecies (you can read it in Wikipedia among other sites), and finally got around to reading them on internet some time ago.

While being vague in many ways, they do seem to pinpoint important issues in the Pope's lives. But the interesting thing is that there are no other Popes in his predictions right after the one following Pope Benedict, which is the current one.

When I feel God's presence I am positive it registers on an EEG or MRI or some machine that my brain waves have changed. That biochemically something is different. Therefore, I have experienced GOD.

I Peter 4:13 says rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's SUFFERING: that, when his GLORY shall be REVEALED, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

I Peter 5:10 says But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal GLORY by Christ Jesus, after that ye have SUFFERED a while make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

I Peter 4:14 also!!

Out of all the drinking game questions I've ever read, this by far is the most baffling. (Yes, even above "If we comed from monkeyses, why is there still monkeyes?!?!?!"....

For starters, no one claims LOVE to be a physical or supernatural entity. Love has an explanation. And there are just so many other reasons this is idiotic, I'm not going to trouble myself pointing them out. I encourage the general Creationist community to, please, try and stop these people from making the rest of you look bad.

Did you you choose you faith solely (or soul-ly) because your parents, or the people near you believe these things.

I ask this, because I find that the people that ask answer questions in the forum tend to be quite ignorant to the teachings and beliefs of any faith except for their own, (sometimes they are even ignorant of their own).

Have you ever considered your parents were wrong, and the only reason they follow (or followed) that path, is because their parents did, and so on and so on.

With something as important as your beliefs, wouldn't it be wiser to take the time to do a little research, educate yourself, and find out what makes the most sense, and feels right, to you?

I direct this question to all faiths, and so called unfaiths (like atheisim).

Please be honest

Hello..Everyone.. :)

Were you brought up in a primarily religious or primarily in an atheist environment?

If you were raised in a non religious home, what caused you to decide to be a Christian?

Or if your were raised in a religious environment..why are you still a Christian?

This question is the reverse, of another question that dear (((((((Mirage))))))) asked earlier today..

I did ask for persmission, to use this question..as it is was his to start with.. :)

1. does god want me to believe?
2. does god always get what he wants?
3. if you answered yes to the first two, why don't i believe?

so either god does not want me to believe, or god does NOT always get what he wants.
