merely placed, defile ability to make filthy or grimy; pollute. The Jewish leaders have been all approximately washing and the fact you're able to desire to not consume particular issues by using fact they have been "grimy". Jesus declared that what makes your soul defiled is what you're saying, not what you consume. The words you employ and the judgment of others. Jesus fulfilled the regulation and as a consequence we don't opt for it if we obey God. Many adult adult males interior the previous testomony "broke" the regulation while God directed and that they did not sin by using fact they have been obeying God. IF --vast be conscious there-- in case you obey God, you at the instant are not in sin. authentic Prophets obey God.

No. Was refering to Jewish traditions. Jews were allowed to eat only certain foods. What Jesus was saying in the context of the passage you are quoting from, is that it's not about the law and what food you eat. Instead man will defile himself through actions of his own. Doesn't mean everything said by a man will defile him, just that words not food will defile a person.

Scripture taken out of context can be a very dangerous thing.

This is what Jesus said to the others who did not understand what he had said.

Matthew 15:16-20

16 "Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them. 17 "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these defile you. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile you; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile you."

The Jews did not (and still don't) eaten certain foods because they believed it defiled their soul/spirit by being contrary to the law. However, Jesus made it clear that what you ate did not defile you but you said - lying, swearing, deceit, gossip etc.

It means the food you eat doesn't defile you..it's your words...Your actions can defile you as well. It is not for man to judge..It's between the person and God.

If that is the case. Why didn't Jesus tell both thieves hung on the cross with Him that day before He died that He would see them both in paradise.

Nah, Jesus was saying that we can eat pork now and it is now impure, and at the same time he was saying that we shall be kind to others cause if you're bad to others it is as if you're bad with Jesus himself.
