Christians for example... 2/3's of the world are not Christian. And many Christians think that only their particular denomination is correct while others are wrong.

Yet ALL people of all faiths believe God has spoken to them. Muslims and Jews say they KNOW they have the one, true book of God. Hindus know they have the most compassionate and historically accurate texts that could only have been divinely inspired.

Muslims KNOW that if one does not follow the Koran, one will go to hell.

So what have YOU done DIFFERENTLY to make sure you are not deluded like these other folks?

Thanks in advance.

Jesussaves: read the question. I asked what you have done differently. Everyone thinks they believe the truth.

Peanutbutter, I would correct your grammar before you insult people.

The Koran teaches that the sun enters a pool to be replenished during the night, and that it was followed and found by a man widely thought by Moslem scholars to be Alexander the Great. As we know such is patently and blatantly untrue, we can discount the Koran as from God. See below for the quote:

The Setting of the Sun

One of the questions which puzzled the ancient Arabs was, "Where did the sun go when night time came?" The Qur'an gave them Allah's answer.

He [i.e. Zul-qarnain] followed, until he reached the setting of the sun. He found it set in a spring of murky water.
(Surah XVIII ( Kahf) vs. 85-86).
(see http://www.chick.com/information/religions/islam/errors.asp for the full run-down on this).

As the Hindu scriptures frequently and clearly contradict themselves, not only in accounts of events but in how to be saved, then they too can be discounted.

Christians and Jews believe in the same God, YHWH (the Moslem 'god' Allah, a name which means 'the chief god' (of 360 gods once worshipped in Mecca), is not the God of the Bible as Allah contradicts YHWH, thus showing he is man-made (or, worse, a demonic entity masquerading as God).
The difference between Christians and Jews is they disbelief Messiah would be put to death. THis comes from them hardening their hearts, itself a sign of the Jews up until Christ's return at the Battle of Armageddon.

This brings us to the bst evidence for the the Holy Bible's Divine origin: the number of prohecies completely fulfilled, those partially fulfilled and awaiting completion (e.g. the regathering of the Jews from all the nations where God scattered them back to Israel, currently the most-obvious prophecy being fulfilled), and those referring to the Latter Days, the time of the end, and other names pointing to the same time period.
This includes the widespread apostasy within the professing church, seen for instance in the Anglican Community with the battle over the ordination of practising homosexuals and lesbians (but try being baptised a second time -- you'll be excommunicated!), the denial that the Bible as the only Word of God within a number of professing churches, and even by influential people within otherwise sound denominations,
and the rush for unity ABOVE (as opposed to IN) all things; as if God wants no arguments, rather than contending for the Faith once for all delivered unto the saints.

Therefore, with the things I see happening in the world, I can point with renewed confidence toward the Bible and say: 'We're told this will happen! Get ready for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ!"

May God bless all who truly sek the truth about Him.

For the Mature Readers: I recommend "The Teachings of All Ages" by Manly P Hall. I don't mean to exclude anyone but this is a graduate level book - I do invite everyone to pick it up at any time in life. It gives a fascinating account of religious and philosophical history and evolution, that will answer just about any question as to how all of this came to be. There are centuries of religious/philosophical ideology that predates all the traditional western factions known today.

We should not be ignorant to claim any truths as the parts that we individually hold dear are particles of the entire mystery...

TRUTH!?
Oh my God, this drives me nuts!!
Has it occurred to anyone else that Christianity and Islam threaten the survival of the entire planet?

By the way, to the woman above me with the camel/needle comment:
Do some research, the same word that means Camel in Aramaic also means rope.
Ask yourself which word makes sense and then think about what else is wrong with the book you worship instead of the living God!

Believe the others are deluded, so basically it's not them to blame.

Technically, allah, yahweh, and god are all the same deity, the religions just broke up with different rules to worship him.

It comes down to a battle of delusions. Each different group of people thinks that their delusions are true whilst every other is false. They all just gloss over the fact that for each delusion there is the same amount of evidence - zero. There is loads of faith, though, and loads of BS.

Overcome sin. Witnessed healings and deliverance of the souls. Saw firsthand the dead come back to life, and all in the name of Jesus Christ.
