God says that He knows not of any other God. Now either there are no other Gods out there, or there is, and God just is not knowledgeable of them.

please help me understand what i am missing here. I prayed and i prayed about it but the God just hasnt given me the understanding of it yet. Please if you have the understanding tell me what Isaiah 44:8 means. I thought LDS churches taught there is more than one God.

Adam has no father and mother while Eve come from Adam but no mother. No pregnancy. Jesus Christ has a mother with a pregnancy but with no father. Can both three be children of God. I love if it be like that. Why just jesus. and..... I'm confused and going to explode. help.

Stem cell research appears to offer a great potential to develop new cures and relieve suffering.

I would have thought that this ought to be welcomed by everyone. Why are some people more concerned about the "rights" of a few cells rather than real life human suffering. This does'nt seem very moral.

I actually have three Q.'s so here they go...when we Christian put our hands in the air and even cry it is said to be in the presents of god. Some of you say there is no proof of there being a god. so then can you answer why this happens and how?
And also we can't see him so don't you think there would have to be a good reason for us to believe that he is there. do you think we would just say that we believe to have our feelings hurt and still go strong for him?
Now put all aside k. If you were to die and god was real, what would you say for yourself. and if he did not exist what has been lost on our behalf and what has been won on your behalf?
Time has not been lost because it has safe guarded us in case of existence. fun has not been lost because of experience of faith and challenges and heal lings and feelings. we have even gained things if he isn't there like a feeling that has brought us to our knees on earth and others like us as a friend and they come to us for guidance.

As we all celebrate this great festival of lights & sweets, what we find that in the name of lights we explode crackers thus increase both air & noise pollution. The sweet we eat is made from adulterated milk which can bring innumerous harm to our health. We go out for purchasing new items for ourselves & our home but get struck in big traffic jams apart being cheated by the local merchants who sell out of date & spoiled articles at expensive rates. We distributes gift items to friends & relatives, which actually happens to be exchanging those pieces which we got from them, just the giver & taker get changed. We buy gold & other ornaments at higher rates just because it is auspicious to do so as being advised by holy priest & astrologers, which on any normal days we could have got in much lesser competitive rates. This festival means visiting of Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth at our place of living & work, but when the festival is over we find the balance left in our accounts will not be enough to carry us till the end of the month. We love this festival & pray to God the almighty to give us peace of mind & prosperity for the whole years so that next year we again repeat these things during this great festival of light & sweets. A Happy & prosperous Diwalli to all!

I need some advice on how to handle a mean, manipulative, and devious co-worker. I have been w/ this agency for 1 year. My first day on the job was horrible. I was informed by my co-worker that she is a type A personality, doesn't do filing, thought that another person was a better choice for the position & I didn't deserve it. She has been employed w/ the agency for 5 mts., still on probation. No one in our dept has been trainedfor this position,incl the lead/supervisor, so we are the only people who know how to do our job. My co-worker is favored by my Supervisor, who has been with the agency for 5 months& my Lead. She is always late, takes excessive leave, dumps work on me, talks on her cell and comes & goes as she pleases, etc. She has the supervisor's ear so most all co-workers kiss her a**. She's demanding, pushy, and piles the work on me. I have tried to resolve this w/ the supervisor and it turned against me. My super. hardly speaks w/ me & if I go to the Union I'm blacklis

The person said that fossils appear older than they do because of Noah's flood. That Noah's flood accounts for why they're buried in layers and such. They also said that dinosaurs DID exist before the flood killed them all (I guess Noah didn't like dinosaurs). And they've died since. Just take for granted that this is true.

Don't you think that Adam & Eve, Cain or Avil, Noah or his children, would have had some kind of an encounter with a dinosaur? Why aren't there any dinosaurs mentioned in the bible if this is true?
