Woman aren't allowed to be priest or any position higher in the church. It seems very disrespectful to me.

Sorry for my mistake, just replace the word Christian with Catholic.

My point is why would a woman belong to a church and attend once a week, give money, all to a church that doesn't see them equal enough to be a priest.

I can't speak to that end since some denominations do allow women to be ministers or priests. But, I do think that Christianity does have a poor view of women from the very start.Remember, Adam was tempted by Eve.So, women are inherently deceiving according to the Abrahamic religions of which Christianity is a part of.Kind of a presumptuous view as well. Also, Jesus didn't get married, according to most Christians because he was perfect and obviously being perfect means that a man resists women.Kind of sexist, isn't it?

It is the role which women have been given. It doesnt make women any less than men, it is just a different role. Can a man give birth to a child? no because that is not what he is made to do.

A. Ephesians 5 husbands are told to love their wifes as Christ loved the church. The love that Christ had for the church was endless and immeasurable. If it is anything that women want, it would be that they would be respected and loved unconditionally by their husbands just as Christ was to the church.

B. In Isaiah 54 we see that God is a husband to all the women in the world. God is the ultimate lover and carer of all the women He has created. If a woman ever wanted to feel like she belonged anywhere, it would be in God's loving arms.

C. God does not show favoritism
Acts 10:34-35
"Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him."

Look at Christ and the Father. Who is above who here? neither, they each have a different role. Jesus' role happened to be to come to earth and live with the lowly of the lowly's and die a horrible death. Does this make Him any less that God the Father? no, Jesus is still God just He has a different role to play.

The main reason a woman would want to be a Christian is ultimately the same reason as why a man would want to be a Christian. Because without God's forgiveness of sin we will not get into heaven.

Why can't a woman be God, or Jesus? Why can't a woman bench press her own weight in a gym? Women are different than men, and men are different than women. It is not that woman are incapable of being leaders or of holding high positions or even being more spiritual than their male counterparts, it's that God has given men a charge of church leadership, and just because they may wish to shirk their duties and pawn it off to a woman, it is not their prerogative. God has said that men will wear the pants in church and that is where it ends. I think God knows his creatures, and knows what's best. He has made an order; not one of inequality, but one of assigned function. Women can fulfill virtually any role in a Protestant church except that of the senior pastor, and I am guessing that is the same in whatever strain of Christianity with which you seem to be familiar. Is it unfair that a man can't give birth? How unfair of God!! Let's give God credit for knowing best, and simply bow humbly before his will, and glory in the role he has given to each of us whether in the church or outside.

That is according to the old law of the old testament, not according to the teachings of Jesus. Jesus came to fulfill the law, and when He did, we were no longer under that law. But even if that were still the case, I don't know why, if a woman believes in God, that she would still not want to be a Christian.
And besides not all religions feel that way, because of the teachings of Jesus.

The Assemblies of God have high-ranking women ministers.
I am sure you have heard of famous ministers like Marilyn Hickey, Cindy Jacobs, etc.
The Bible says, men & women are equal in the eyes of God.

My great-grandma has always been a Catholic and would be nothing but a Catholic. And she would probably agree that only men should be priests. In the same way that I think only women should be stay at home parents. They are better at it than us men.

because God is there for you & men aren't. lol. that is true tho' but there's more to it than that. God accepts anyone--everyone is equal in His sight, whether you're a guy or a girl. also, you know that there is Someone (God) that always loves you and will always be there for you no matter wat ur past may be or wat you're done. He offers hope and an unbelievable peace in your life!!!
ummm i don't think Christians have priests, but i have heard of women pastors before.
