THE consequence? It would take an encyclopedia to merely list the consequences, much less explain them. In a nutshell? Living death. We are deadwood, useless, like a tree without fruit. As Aristotle suggests, an unexamined life is not a life worth living. By "life" I infer everything that affects us.
