I see nothing wrong with it. I also see nothing wrong with using them when my husband is gone for weeks or months at a time.

Is It Just a Harmless Diversion??

These days, toys are all-pervasive and appears to be accepted in most of modern society. Where once it was the province of disreputable cinemas and red-light districts, it is now often in mainstream in many communities. In the United States alone, toys generates more than ten billion dollars annually!

Some defenders promote toys as a way to spice up a dull marriage. It stimulates an active fantasy life.

But not everyone agrees. Toys has often been linked to a wide range of harmful outcomes and attitudes. Infamous serial killer Ted Bundy admits that he had a "strong appetite for toys (I read his bio).He says: This condition is not immediately seen by the individual or identified as a serious problem. . . . But this interest . yes the feeding of that interest. . becomes geared towards matters of a sexual nature that involve a dependency. I cannot emphasize enough the gradual development of this. It is not short-term.

As I read more--seems many feel it is necessary after a while. They don't get the thrill as much without it. It promotes selfish, greedy attitudes and teaches people to view others as objects fit only to satisfy their lust. It stimulates lust for something that one does not possess. Do you want this? Is your lover ill equiped on his own? Or is this just a rare thing in a playful mood (I can understand this)?

I don't know up to you I guess. It is obvious one can get satisfaction from it. I just wonder why the natural act in itself can't do it. Does it for me.. Might be an issue there you need to talk about.

Well, I'm not a Christian but here's my two cents...

Since you are married, you can afford to explore a healthy sexuality with your husband. Just make sure that it is something your husband wants to try as well. Talk with him, see if he wants to explore new areas. Adding toys into the bedroom won't ruin your marriage- in fact it may even help you two become even closer intimately. Sex can be a beautiful expression of love, especially between husband and wife!

An awesome book to look for is "Guide to Getting it On, 5th Edition" by Paul Joannides. It is the best guide to any sex question you could possibly have.

Edit: Even if you are not married yet, my advice still stands. Guide to Getting it On is wonderful book.

What does The Holy Spirit tell you? The Holy Spirit will convict you of your sins, and if you are having any sort of doubt on this, or thinking it over, and saying it may be wrong, it is good to listen, I can't answer that, you have to let The Lord answer that one for you.

I am a guy but your title of your q brought me here.

I would only ask your husband if I were you. I am absolutely 100% against it all the way. If my wife ( which I do not have) were to use that, I would feel as if she were cheating on me.

That i just my opinion.

Why use sex toys when you have the real stuff?

Once you begin to use sex toys, you will become dependent on them & you will become disatisfied with your spouse's performance.....and you know what this will eventually lead to?

A broken marriage.

Sex toys are normally used by perverts.
