Someone yesterday claimed there would be a correlation between education and their beliefs.

I think the person was just an ignorant arrogant fool. But hey, let's do a survey and see if I am right.

I have a PhD, 3 Masters degrees and I'm working on my next (last) Doctorate degree. I don't follow any religion but I do believe in God.

Absolutely. The only debatable point is by what degree.
The Qur'an:Sura (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also Sura (4:176)).

Sura (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women"
Sura (24:31) - Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye.
Sura (4:3) - (Wife-to-husband ratio) "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four"
Bukhari (6:301) - "[Muhammad] said, 'Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her intelligence.'"The fourth Caliph, who was Muhammad's son-in-law and cousin, said just a few years after the prophet's death that "The entire woman is an evil. And what is worse is that it is a necessary evil."
A traditional Islamic saying is that, "A woman's heaven is beneath her husband's feet."

There's a church on every freaking street corner. We have Christian preachers on TV 24/7. It's on the news every night. Can't Christians just lay off the whole evangelizing thing now?

where the majority of voters believed in Xenu's Galactic Confederacy, there were several court cases to decide whether Dianetics should be taught in public schools, people bombed psychiatric offices, and it was illegal for women to scream during birth...

Even though you didn't believe in Xenu, would you find yourself debating Scientologists?

I'm not entirely sure that I agree with George Lucas' portrayal of the Force. He puts such an emphasis on the Sith and Jedi but are these not both extremes of the Force? How can the Force be in balance when you've got two extremes and rather than a middle path?

if i was a christian, and i believed in hell being this whole lake of fire, eternal torment, gnashing of teeth place as so many christians have described to me i'd feel i have a little more of a moral obligation for really getting the word out to everyone as extremely as possible. consider you see someone who's about to walk unknowingly into oncoming traffic. do you just say, "hey, jesus loves you" only to let him procede aimlessly into the oncoming traffic? no. hell no!!! you start screaming. and if he continues you get almost have to get rude. "hey, you stupid idiot, you're about to get hit by a car!!!" yet, for some reason christians seem all to calm when it comes to non-christians allegedly going to hell. why is this? i mean, if you really believed that there was this place called hell, and that some of us are going, wouldn't you be a little more animated than calmlly saying, "jesus loves you"? is your calmness a sign of your doubt?

Is mortal sin still mortal sin if you didn't know it was at the time?
Because i'm getting baptized into catholicism, but at confession, i don't know what not to say because some of it is seriously humiliating. is it still a mortal sin and is it still required to confess if at the time you weren't thinking about how it was a mortal sin, and if you would have known, then you wouldn't have done it but upon figuring that it was, stopping right after? Is that a mortal sin still? Because i have some really embarrassing things that apparently are but i had no idea prior.

On a part time basis I sell bridal dresses and lingerie, and I am a male. I use the name Jodie in my communications because people seem comfortable talking with a woman about what are, at the end of the day, very feminine things. Anyway this came about because I found it put customers off if they knew me by my male name, don't know why, but it seemed that way to me. So I started using a feminine name and it seems to work. I am not misleading people I hope, because when they meet me they can see I am male. So is this okay? I actually use 'Jodee' because I think it is between 'Jody' (male) and 'Jodie' (female). anyway I think it is a pretty name and it is helping to grow business and people seem happy to deal with us. But is it okay to use another name, especially one so obviously feminine?
