No. No one can say that. What do you mean come back? Did I miss it?

Oddly enough God is "back", but to most He would appear as simply a pleasant looking older gentleman. There is a subtle and rarely noted phenomenon that accompanied Christ and his acquisition of disciples. That phenomenon is expressed in an Eastern saying: When the Chela is ready, the Master appears. This saying refers to the fact that those "ready" to awaken to God will readily recognize Him, and will drop their attachment to life and follow Him.

Your question is a good one in that it takes an overview of this phenomenon in action. Most on Earth today are much too busy doing their Karmic work to take notice of God, even if He were to manifest among them. Most are not "ready" to leave in other words. Only those within whom an elevated level of consciousness exists places them in the "ready" column so that they could turn from the World and follow God.

If I really knew he was god and is supposed to be almighty, after the way he permitted the suffering , wars , killings ,starvation , disease , poverty , crime , and all the other miseries , I would refuse to accompany him anywhere .

No, and neither can anybody else.

I CAN say that I am redeemed by the blood of Christ, I trust in him alone for my salvation, and, as the Bible teaches, I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), knowing that it is God's gift of grace that is working in me.
