Because of this:

I mean, if Jesus didn't even exist, how can I continue to be a Christian?

Which religion should I choose, now that I can no longer attribute the blessings in my life to Jesus?

I guess it was all in my head after all?

Okay, so I'm wondering why god is such a HATER? Why would a god want to divide people? A people with one language who were working in unity to get closer to a being that is supposed to love them. Why would any loving god want to destroy that? And why have we been allowed to make seemingly LARGER buildings now? Hell, we've made it to the moon. Why is god suddenly impotent?

There is a teaching which declares that the body of Messiah will spend seven years with Yeshua at the marriage feast in heaven while tribulation comes to those left behind on earth. This is maintained by evangelicals who hold to a pre-millennial, pre-tribulation rapture. However, Scripture does not necessarily hold this to be true. http://www.shamar.org/articles/marlamb.php

the humans existed 100,000 years ago?

two human beings; the second, 4; the third, 8; the fourth, 16; the tenth, 1024; the twentieth 1,048,576, the thirtieth, 1,073,741,824; and the thirty-first, 2,147,483,648. In other words, if we raise two to the thirtieth power, we have 1,073,741,824; or to the thirty-first power, 2,147,483,648 Therefore, it is evident even to the school boy, that, to have the present population of the globe, the net population must be doubled more than thirty times and less than thirty-one times. By logarithms, we find it to be 30.75 times. After all allowances are made for natural deaths, wars, catastrophes, and losses of all kinds, if the human race would double its numbers 30.75 times, we would have the present population of the globe....

And according to theists a supreme being created it all, why would this being care so much about one little planet revolving around one mediocre star when there are quadrillions of stars and possibly billions of Earth like planets out there who would also want to talk to it. Wouldn't this supreme being just set it and forget, just create it and forget it was even created or is everything just really random?

If the christians are raptured first and the unfaithful must undergo 7 years of tribulation, how does that fit with the parable of the tares and wheat in Matthew 13: 24-30 where the tares (unbelievers) are taken out first and then the wheat (christians) are then taken out right after?

I was asked to participate in a charity walk for the homeless and hungry. My first inclination was to ask whether the homeless people will be participating in this walk or if they are going to sit on the street corner begging while the rest of us walk to raise money on their behalf.

Would it have been wrong to ask that question? Should I still ask about how and if the homeless are going to participate? Would it be improper to use this issue as a pre-requisite to determine whether or not I should participate myself?

I hv experienced many times that when some people made an appointment, they cld conveniently change their mind of not coming at the last hour /day over a lame reason... like not feeling so good, i decided to take somebody somewhere... etc.

When i make an appointment i will try my best to keep it... that appointment is more important cos i hv promised someone. I wldnt let any trivial matters change that. But many people i met were not so. Are you a person of your words?

It's for my new (3 weeks old) grandson's room. I am asking because I am unable to get to my Book of Shadows at this time and I need to do this tonight. I am traveling (2) hours after work to go to my daughter house. My daughter (not Wiccan) has asked me to bless his room because she feels "uncomfortable" in this room. My mother (Wiccan) and I (Celtic Pagan) had cleansed it about a year ago because my daughter was unable to sleep in the room. Things have been fine until now. This was my room as a child and now my daughter lives there. Myself, my mother and daughter are all very "spiritual" so I do believe negative energies may have attached themselves to this room.

We will be using white sage and I'm just looking for a short chant/invocation not a ritual (since my mother's and my beliefs don't totally agree).

Thanks for your help.

If your adult body here is four foot and you weigh 220 lbs; do you still believe that you will have that same body up in heaven? Or do you believe that our Good Savior Jesus Christ will give all of us a much better, more real suitable form up in the next higher Heaven ?

If you believe we will be souls in a higher soul body up there, do you think your mental capacities will be the same as here or how many times more? Will an IQ of 100 here be IQ 100 up in Heaven to start? or maybe IQ 300 ? IQ 1000 ? IQ ten trillion? other ? Then we need to consider soul quotients up there; but we humans don't know about that and can not measure same. In Jesus' Parable of the talents, the human with 5 talents got 5 more; the human with 10 got 10 more.

Past one year, my judgement of people is dying. My dislike and anger about anything is fading away. Something new is being born from within but sadly is quite sensitive to feelings and emotions of others. Its hard to describe. Has anyone else felt like this?
