I haven't been too impressed these last few years with them... I'm thinking of going green or libertarian.

Catholic Crusader - what would Jesus do? Would he talk like that?

Probably not. However the Libertarian Party may be interesting. I'm Republican, though I don't approve of some things within the GOP it's more closer to what I would follow politically. Every political party makes mistakes and aren't perfect. But it's probably a good idea to look into and investigate other political parties to so which one you may feel and think is more aligned with your views.

I was told by a family member that you're not a Christian if you don't support Bush. I took a deep breath and decided against explaining that Jesus was all about loving your neighbor as yourself and helping the poor, children and widows. It was really the most idiotic thing that I've ever heard. Go with whatever party or candidate suits you.

No political party is required to be a Christian. Spiritualism is divine and politics are of earth.

From where I sit, I see barely any difference in current party structure. Democrats sit on the edge of the bed and tell you how good it is going to be, and Republicans sit on the edge of the bed and tell you how good it has been. I think it is turning into a massive part of Democans or Republicrats.

My two points worth.

Jesus would demand you belong to the Holy Apostolic Roman Catholic Church.

God wants you to pray and ask Him who would be the best candidate. We are also to vote for those that have Biblical values and want to see America being ruled under God. I know what you mean, it is pretty slim pickins this year, but we need to vote for someone. I would say the one that is closes to God would be best. We are also told to pray for our leaders, so that their heart can be turned toward God if it is not already.

Very traditional religious groups, that believe heavilly in, the perfection of writing and ideas from the past, also tend to be conservative and resistant to change.

The only thing Jesus requires you to do is not think logically, stick to your blind faith, and keep believing that he's god and that you need him... he would probably want you to support the Atlanta Braves, I think

Jesus commands us only to love God above all else and our neighbor as ourself. He, also, asks us to render to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. He makes no statement about political parties.
