And yet they knew nothing about orientation but most seemed bi. Then people seemed to get hang ups, and then we went through a time when it was looked down upon to be gay or bi. Now we seem to be more accepting again but we are putting ourselves in boxes.

Maybe the ancient Greeks got it right.

Our classroom is making a poster to celebrate drug free week. We are using the saying Everywhere we go..... We say NO to Drugs. I am wanting to use flags with different ways to say no, no way, or never in lots of languages.
My students will then put handprints around a picture of the world.

Please let me know what language you are using so that we can also use that on our poster.

So I grew up with really bizarre parents that were drunk and absent all the time, and would make me eat in my bedroom because they didn't want to hear me eat, and would get hysterical if I needed anything like shoes or medical care. I called 911 during an episode, but couldn't get through because my dad pulled the phone out of the wall.

So then I went to college, I wanted to be a nurse. I thought all this crud could be put to something good, and I could help people. After struggling immensely socially, I met someone and wanted to get married. I majored in something completely random and easy after not getting in to nursing school (even with my 3.7), so that I could get married, because he didn't want to get married until we were both finished with college. I wanted so badly to get married and have a normal family for the 1st time in my life, that when he changed his major and was going to take longer to graduate I dumped him so that I could get married sooner.

Assuming god existed, and there was an afterlife, and you went there - would you be able to leave? If not is it more like forced retirement home to live out eternity without any freedom?

Don't say 'you wouldn't want to, you'd be happy' - happiness is tied up with freedom.
Who thinks you'd be able to leave?

First I repent of sin.....he only hears I'm sorry from a person living in sin.....then I praise him...he will call on the mountains to praise him if we don't......then I ask him for what I want.....he will never leave you. never fail you.. He has been faithful to me.....and answered all of my prayers....some times he says no.....sometimes wait...

so I'm (20) dressing up as a gay construction worker for halloween tonight. I need some ideas to really push the gay vibe, this is what I have so far.

- Short, and I mean short cutoffs
- Yellow hard hat
- Tool belt (some items in the belt might help) w/ pink hammer, drywall square, and tape/pencil
- torn wife beater
- pigskin gloves
- boots
- Avaitors

I need to really get the message accross, what else should I do?

This is mainly addressed to Americans but if it's celebrated in your country as well your answer's welcomed.
I wanted to ask if there's any particular meal that people cook on Halloween. Are there any traditional recipes for I don't know cookies or do you have something in particular for dinner that day? Tell me whatever you want about Halloween, I'm really interested in knowing how it's celebrated where you live.

If everything has to be created and cannot evolve, then something must have created God? Is there a God of God, like a super God?

This is not a racist question. I am white, and i see that a lot of white people feel that they are superior than other races. However what do white people really have to show for it? we're not the best athletes, we're not the best singers, we're not the best dancers, we're not the most intelligent, I mean really, why do white people think they're better than everyone else when in reality we're the low man on the totempoll?

I asked this question a while ago but did not receive any answers other than those who refuted the fact he was in charge of the money.

Here's the scripture John 12, 4-6

12:4 But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) said, 12:5 “Why wasn’t this oil sold for three hundred silver coins and the money given to the poor?” 12:6 (Now Judas said this not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief. As keeper of the money box, he used to steal what was put into it.)

Why did Jesus put him in charge of the money?

Star does....I'm a child of God and children need correction, and punishment at times. But I respect my Lord and accept his correction....Every word we have said here will go into judgement...We have to answer for it.....I have lots to learn and have to repent every day for things the Holy Spirit has told me was wrong to do.....But I repent.....

The answer, by "magnetic_azimuth":

i mostly ignor these questions for obvious reasons,

however based on my experience in iraq, I saw the people praying (a group of 150 or so) and I was friends with many of these men who would get together to pray so I asked them about what they thought of God, (almost all of them were agnostic or atheist.....honestly that is what they told me)

they said, they go through the motions to prevent others who actually believe in al lah from killing them for not believing

you tell me who is more dangerous

islam or atheism

I would trust an atheist with a loaded gun behind me,

You seem to disagree with my statement that ONLY God knows the hearts of, not only His followers, but people of all faiths and Atheists alike. Do you disagree with this?

I have seen many posts on here from Christians lamenting over the fact that someone dear to them doesn't believe. They speak of constantly praying over the matter and talking, talking, talking to the person so they might not burn in hell. My question is what if your non-believing friends/family members pursued you in the same way to get you to believe their way? Are not their feelings just as strong as yours are? In their minds don't they have just as much conviction for their beliefs that you do for yours? I think more people should put themselves in that position before they embark on conversion quests. What say you?
