We agreed to my ultimatum last month that she needed to lose 8 pounds before I would take her out on a date again.

Every Monday morning we have a weigh in, and honestly I find myself praying that she has lost the weight.

I am a man of my word, so I will leave her if the weight stays on, but I really really like her and want to stay with her. Although she is an atheist and will eventually burn in hell forever, she is a very nice girl otherwise and is fun to be around. She sins by sleeping with me, but we are working on getting her act together.

Is it wrong for me to use prayer in such a personal way?

I went through that, a couple of times, during really bad times. and god never showed up. (of course)

Most atheists I know either started out in really staunch christian families and finally "saw the light" or just never did believe. Not many I've met will admit a crisis of non-faith, but then again, I haven't met that many.

are you pro life or pro choice?personal i believe that neither are black or white but a shade of gray and well, that womens bodie are their own business.but i also believe that abortion should be done only in special cases like rape,when the child has developed a mental or fatal condition,or when the birth is a threat to the mothers life and Not when a man and a woman have been careless during sexual relations.tell me your views on abortion and arguments for or against each choice.

I would like to know because I see many interracial couples and it is usually with a black man. Does many women of other races find them atrractive and desirable? I always see men from other races that are gorgeous, but I dont desire them. (BTW, the stereotype of black men is not true ; )

As I was driving from Washington DC to Michigan this past weekend, I passed by a little town called Frostburg in Maryland. I saw something so odd, I couldn't believe I'd seen it, and had to Google it to see if I was crazy (Entirely possible, I'd had 4 energy drinks, LOTS of weird things were happening).

Someone has a sign that says "Noah's Ark being rebuilt HERE!" accompanied by a large frame, presumebly for the afformentioned ark.

A bit of research shows that the Pastor behind this has been "building" this since 1976 (even though the frame went up in 1999). Why can't he get with it? Is it too much to ask that with modern technology someone can build a boat in 31 years?

Thoughts? Visionary who just needs to "get a move on," or nut who's just plain lazy?

There's this girl in my school thats 2 years below me. She's extremely intelligent,amazing at sport,and incredibly pretty... She also seems to be very modest when it comes to all three of these and she's an awesome person!
Because she's younger than me, I dont have any classes with her, and only see her maybe once a day at school. She always stops to give me a hug and have a chat and from only this I developed a small crush on her :)
I dont make it obvious AT ALL, and she seems to be the one that flirts(physical contact and eye contact). I didn't think anything would ever happen, because we don't hang out with the same people, but she asked me for my number today.
I am sooo incredibly confused, and even though I've never heard of her having something with another girl, she flirts with me soooo much! I think she probably knows Im bi,which means she's not freaked out by it, but is there something more here?Do the looks and smiles,the long hugs and affection mean something from her side?

I always have to go around 10am (that's my time) and there is a row of 10 stalls in my floor's men's bathroom. This is a question for Atheists, Christians, Agnostics, and all Religions. I'm just wondering if you believe the Big Bang Theory or not, and support your answer with why you do, or why you don't.

I'm not going to tell if I do until after I've chose the best answer. Would it be better to pray alone at home, or wherever you are at the time you need to pray? Wouldn't you be clearer and more focused alone, and less open to other people trying to direct your prayers where they want them to go?
