Regardless of faith or religion, yes, all requests are heard and answered. It is up to us to be open for the answer though.
Blessed Be

OFCOURSE! prayers were given by GOD as a tool for you to express and restore your faith in HIM. when what we have asked for coincides with what GOD has wanted for us, we feel that our prayers have been answered. whereas when the two don't coincide we feel he DID'NT answer our prayers. dear, if you really have faith in GOD then your faith should be that HE will give me what HE is best for me. in QURAAN ALLAH has said that he loves us 17,000 times more than our mothers. this example was given as mothers are considered to be the one who love us the unconditionally and the most of all. hence HE says, i love you even more than them. can HE who loves us so much go wrong in decisions pertaining to us. NO! so next time you pray your words should be "OH LORD! DO WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST IN MY INTEREST AND I TRUST YOU UNCONDITIONALLY" you will notice that you start seeing good in whatever you get and you will stop complaining. by the way, ALLAH says, 'I LIKE TO BE THANKED"

Although from one standpoint you could say that God hears everything, God, Himself, states that not all prayers will be heard. God only hears the prayers of the humble and the penitent.
"And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." Isaiah 1:15
"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Isaiah 59:1
"And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee." Jeremiah 7:13-16

Yes, I believe prayers are heard. They may are also answered in one way or another. It may not be the answer you are looking for or in the time frame you hope for but they are heard and answered.

Quran Sura 46. Al-Ahqaf
4
Ask them: "Have you pondered on those whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me anything that they have created in the earth, or do they have any share in the creation of the heavens? Bring me any Book revealed before this, or some remnant of divine knowledge in support of your beliefs if you are telling the truth."
5
And who could be more astray than the one who invokes those deities besides Allah who cannot answer him till the Day of Resurrection - which, in fact, are not even aware that they are being invoked?
6
And when mankind shall be assembled on the Day of Judgement, they will become enemies of those who invoked them and deny their worship altogether.

Yes God is all hearing all seeing all knowing ,
So not only hear's our pray but also solve our problem ,
Glorious Quran quoted Moses (peace be upon him) as praying,
20:25. (Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast;
26. "Ease my task for me;
27. "And remove the impediment from my speech,
28. "So they may understand what I say:
29. "And give me a Minister from my family,
30. "Aaron, my brother;
31. "Add to my strength through him,
32. "And make him share my task:
33. "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint,
34. "And remember Thee without stint:
35. "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us."
36. ((Allah)) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!"
37. "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before).

Yes, but not specifically
Too many people praying for too much all of the time.
After awhile it would become like white noise to him/her/it
