and differentiate them from God? It seems that they do not understand that the laws aren't just constraints. They are the basic reality that allows us to operate. They define the possibilities. Even if we are in the supernatural, in the domain of God, nothing is possible without order, without intelligence, without laws.
Clearly, the Christians do not believe that God is chaotic, without order. They believe that He is intelligent, expresses order, etc. As total and unlimited as he can be, His intelligence is the expression of some laws. These laws must always have been with God, because He was eternally intelligent.
Moreover, there cannot be two set of fundamental laws, the laws of nature and the laws of God. Otherwise,. even more fundamental laws would be needed to connect them, which would be a contradiction with the nature of God. So, the fundamental laws behind God are the fundamental laws of nature. There is only one ultimate reality and that is God eternally with the laws.
