I'd like a description with more detail than a phrase. How does it relate to "Speaking in Tongues", and when is a person eligible to experience this?

To be filled with the Holy Ghost you need only be saved. Yo put into words what it is and how it feels is beyond me. Words are not sufficient. It is the best feeling you will ever have. You will feel 10 feet tall and devil proof. Feel like you have enough energy to run around the world without stopping. Feel so close to God that you could be standing in the throne room. Speaking in tongues is a sign of the filling with the Holy Spirit. If you have not experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit I highly recommend praying for it.

The Infilling of The Holy Spirit is REAL. Part One: When you get Born-Again, your spirit gets Recreated and GOD Lives inside of you. (you are Baptised in the Holy Spirit--not filled yet.) Part Two: After you get Saved (spirit Recreated) you can give GOD Permission to come into your Soul. That is called the Infilling of the Holy Spirit. You are a spirit (look just like your Body) You have a Soul (second Mind--the World calls it the SubConsious) You Live in a Body (physical flesh and blood) You get Saved (Recreated) in your spirit. You get Filled in your Soul. The Soul (second Mind, Will and Emotions) DO NOT get Recreated. The Body (Flesh and Blood) DOES NOT get Recreated. Only you, a spirit, gets Recreated. The Soul has to be RENEWED with the WORD of GOD. The Body will be Recreated Later. Hope this helps! Ditto............you may or may not FEEL GOD's Presence when you Ask GOD to Fill you with the Holy Spirit. When you Learn how to Pray in Tongues (edify yourself--charge up your Spiritual Batteries) in your Prayer Closet, it won't be Long Untill you DO FEEL GOD's Presence.

The Lord chooses with unknowable reason. Being filled with the Holy Spirit could be many different experiences, from speaking in tongues to healing to interpreting to spreading a body of water for safety. I have to guess at saying when someone is eligible, because I don't remember a verse. My guess is if one seeks the Lord with everything inside, the Lord will return the devotion 1000 fold. Does that mean everyone that seeks God will perform a miracle, like plagues? Not likely. Love destroys sin. God uplifts love. Seek Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and you will experience something the rest of us will scarcely understand.

Firstly, I'm not a Christian in answering your question. But let me give you my point of view on this.

Christian who are eligible to experience "Filled With The HOLY GHOST" and can "Speaking in Tongues", is the Christian's who CANNOT be tempted by the Devil in anyway sort of means due to your body or soul are FILLED with the "HOLY GHOST" and there is NOTHING which can be penetrate through your thoughts, your soul, your needs etc.
EG like a full 1 litre bottle of water, can you fill another litre of water into it?
So Do you know any Christian in your lifetime who have never be tempted in anything by the Devil?

Bro , even the most pious man be tempted by the Devil, so this "Filled With The HOLY GHOST" is a question mark created by Men.

Let me give another eg, this a true story some years back. A friend of mine a Christian guy have a teenage son, my friend is well verse in Bilble intrepetations unlike his son. One day his son friend who is a catholic ask him(my son friend) a question(sorry i can't remenber the question, is about Peter if i'm not wrong). My son friend could not answer this question on the spot so later he ask his father, My friend thought about it for awhile and then ask his son to reply this answer. So My friend son go back to his catholic friend and reply the answer that provide by his father and The catholic reply back after he have heard the answer that he is satisfied with the answer.
So my friend son go back to his father and told him about this.

Then My friend told me about this event to me and tell me this. " Do you know why my son cannot answer this question but i can?" i reply politely "No" (cause i knew the answer already) , My friend said "it is because i filled with The HOLY GHOST which help me to produce the correct answer to my son catholic friend". I just smile at my friend , and don't want to hurt his feeling with my answer and let it be.
Do you know what is my answer?

My answer is " Cause he(My friend) have more Bible KNOWLEDGE that his son" in answering the question. and not due to this "Filled With The HOLY GHOST" :)

hope you understand.

Its a gift for all who have accepted Jesus as Lord and savior. When one is filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, the initial evidence is speaking in tongues. After the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you will have boldness to witness, better understanding when you read the bible and comfort. There are other gifts of the Spirit also.

It means God's spirit insise you. You will speak w/ new tongues as God gives the utterance. It is to give you peace and make you a powerful witness for God. Like it says in the Bible. There is joy and peace in the Holy Ghost. It is the very birth of one's spirit. It is what makes us a part of God's family.

its the same thing as speaking in tongues...otherwise known as speaking in a the spirit/ Gods languages. It's a symbolic meaning that God is speaking through you weather its on insight or hope it depends. something that is very popular in the apostolic and pentecostal denominations

ive spoken in tongues before. It's an awesome feeling dude

Full immersion in the delusion. Tongues are the babble that foams from the insane person's mouth.
