I am opening a debate here on Christians and their lack of standing up for their beliefs in both the secular raise and in the political arena. I want Christians to answer these questions with thoughtfulness and honesty, for i feel it is time for us to stand together and get ready for the fight of our existence.

1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

What is John talking about here. Is it just that he knows Christ is the Messiah?

Identical twins have identical genes. If homosexuality were genetically predestined (like eye color), then if one identical twin was homosexual, in 100% of the cases his brother would be too. But only about 38% of the time is the identical twin brother homosexual.

Is it possible that homosexual identical twins, raised in the same environment, have similar experiences that make them choose a homosexual identity? Or are 62% of the identical twins of homosexuals still in the closet?

Like evolve i mean.

Look at the Spanish conquistadors, they felt they could kill natives, take their gold, rape the women, and make slaves out of the rest and think its perfectly good with god.

Then look at the Inquisition, where innocent people could be tortured to death as long as blood was not drawn.

Or the hanging of blacks in the South during the KKK era.

But today's christians would not do these things. Maybe its because they re-read the 10 commandments and have a better intellect. This is definitely progress in the positive direction. Keep up.

Originally, it seemed that Islam was the target of R&S hatred and anger and primarily from various Christian denominations or sects.
Now, it seems that those same groups have decided to go after the Roman Catholic church with even greater zeal the manner and ways in which they went after the Muslims.
Aren't all of these Christian denominations and sects following the teachings of the same Gospels such as love thy neighbor, treat others as you would have them treat you, judge not lest ye shall be judged, turn the other cheek, forgive so that you will be forgiven, voluntary poverty so as to enable the believer to assist the needy, the hungrry, the homeless, the infirmed, the imprisoned, widows, orphans and the marginalized of society?
Where is all of this bitterness, hatred and anger coming from?
What would Jesus Christ think of all of this?
Is this Christianity?
Where is the love and the peace of Christ in all of this?

When I was researching this, I was surprised to see how few sources we have which encourage salat and so many that instruct. Especially in light of the fact that so many of our brothers and sisters have abandoned the salat --- May Allah guide us all.

Some of the greatest blessings imaginable are so simple yet we try so hard to make them so unattainable. Great rewards are the blessings that Allah has given us for various acts that we perform. The greatest of them all is the salat. Allah has enjoined on us five prayers a day. Simple, efficient, and packed with benefit, this small amount of time that we spend in remembrance of Allah, speaking to Him, seeking from Him, gaining from Him...this short time that we give to Him from the multitude of time He has given us is so tiny, yet so power-packed.
