I was raised and a non-bible thumping Christian home (of great faith). My boyfriend of 4 yrs is an athiest (as I have really recently gathered). I am now ready for marraige and kids in my life, I am 33. He laughs at me when I say I will raise my kids in a faithful home. He is a VERY honest person, beaufiful inside and out, and treats me great. But, can I marry someone who has a different belief in faith and directive? My sister just questioned the same thing, and ended her long time relationship.

I am working on a novel. It is not specifically about gay people, but there are some gay characters.
Pardoni, the pirate (and then king/conqueror):
He was born the son of a prostitute. As he was growing up he repeatedly saw his mother in situations that a child should not, and saw how sex made her emotionally desolate.
Because of his experiences in childhood, he is repulsed by the idea of hetero intercourse, but of course still has a sex drive. He turned to homosexuality, as he could have sexual relations with a man and not hate himself for making a woman desolate.

This is different to my own experience. I have always been gay, and I have really never been anything else.
I want to know, does Pardoni's turning to homosexuality because of his repulsion to hetero intercourse work? Does this actually happen, that a person can turn gay, even if they aren't simply gay?

(And what is up with my avatar? I chose a face for my avatar, then changed it. Now it alternates. Can I fix that?)

i mean, don't we all have issues and deal with them in our own way. some of us deal with them in a more positive way and others turn to negative ways. isn't wrong to generalize one group because of what some "emo" people do?

I dont know if i should pray regularly. A person gave me some good advice that if you do a thing regularly and it becomes a ritual and you cease to think of what u are doing. Sometimes i forget to pray before i go to sleep, i dont pray before meals, when i wake up, i dont know weather i should pray to God like talking to a good friend or pray to God with already written prayers. If so I do not know any prewritten prayers. Can somebody please help me. I am having a tough time and i dont know what to do and please Athesists and other God haters Dont waste my and your time by replying to this.

That doesn't come in real handy when you're gambling. "Come on four billion!...... F*ck!....Seven....Not even close. I need some more dice. Four billion divided by six, at least

And I do a lot of lot of such couples lately - clearly more than just a few years ago. I rarely see the opposite (that is Asian men with Caucasian women). Can anyone explain this phenomenon? I am really curious to know. Are there more Asian women than men? Otherwise, there must be lots of single Asian men out there.

When sleeping one night in my room with my dog at the side of my bed on the floor we were abruptly awaken by the spirit of a female witch? She was evil and older. She flew in the spirit with nothing to help her. As my head was next to the exterior wall of the room, she flew past my head and tried to enter the room were my dog lay asleep on the floor. As soon as she attempted to enter the room this is what happend. My dog and myself jumped from her attempt to enter the room. It startled both of us greatly. She was never able to enter the room. As soon as we jumped as in were awaken abruptly something amazing happend as if this wasn't amazing enough. A Angels of the Lord swooped down into the room and grabed this spirit of a witch by the arm and took her away before she could enter. This happend fast and starteld both myself and the dog. Another thing that is amazing to me is that when she came close to me as in flying by my head I could see her as the spirit in me manifested her to me.

Exodus “Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your god; you shall not do any work – you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. For in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is on them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.”

Deut. “Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work – you, or your son or your daughter , or you male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.”

Or are you just unable to bear the thought of being wrong about how, logically, and sophisticated your way of thinking is? That maybe if you checked into it long enough you might find the truth that all that time you were wrong. I can see how it might be embarrassing though.

Are we, as a society, really that stupid and lame brained?? Studies have PROVEN that there is no link between early vaccines and autism - yet ancedotal evidence is enough to make people believe that the risk associated with your child DYING when they catch the measles is better than the "risk" of vaccinating your children??

I am so glad I have no children currently, as I would hate to send them to school with other kids that are potential disease carriers...
