That is a correct statement. We do believe that Jehovah is The Almighty God, the Creator. Jehovah being his name; reference the Bible at Psalms 83:18. (KJV) Some other bibles have replaced this name with titles such as God or LORD. The original Hebrew & Greek scriptures used his personal name over 7,000 times. God being his rightful title; reference the Bible at (Revelation 4:11) . . .“You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.”
Definetely believe that God is Love.
Reference the Bible at 1st John 4:8... He didn't create the confusion and death that we live in today. He started things off PERFECTLY! It was his original purpose, and remains so. Therefore, he will LOVINGLY fix it! We, as imperfect humans have to have FAITH in Jehovah's promise, and we will SEE this LOVING GOD!

WOW! after reading all of those other answers from obvious NON-JW's you should definately write their answers down and discuss each of them with one of us... feel free to email me! Some of the things written are so hilarious that you'd need a hundred and zero clowns to wring the water out of them!!! Seriously, please contact Jehovah's Witnesses personally... Don't let yourself be fooled!

We believe that the Bible is ABSOLUTELY the word of God...and written for our instruction to guide us through this turbulent system.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the SON of God and was sent to lay his life down in our behalf for our salvation.
We believe in Gods's promises of a "new heavens" and a "new earth" where righteousness will dwell.
We believe in the command at Matthew 24:14 that the "good news of God's Kingdom" shall be preached to the entire inhabited earth.
We believe that JEHOVAH alone is the only true God. Psalm 83:18

Peace

Jehovah's Witnesses are relatively unique among self-described Christians in that they understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

They believe what the watchtower organization tells them to believe and the watchtower organization believes what Satan tells them to believe. They believe that Jesus is a god, so they have two gods, they believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel. They believe Jesus returned invisibly in 1914. They believe the Holy Spirit is God's active force. They believe receiving a blood transfusion is the same as eating blood. They believe in annihilation after death. They believe only 144,000 Jehovah's witnesses will be in heaven and the other witnesses will remain on the new paradise earth and that is only if they work hard enough to earn their salvation, so they will have something to boast about . They believe Jesus manufactured different bodies for Himself after the Resurrection so they do not believe in a literal resurrection of Jesus.

That is only one small part of it. To go farther, you will have to define the question a little more.

EDIT_______________

If we don't believe in medicine or surgeries, why are some of us doctors and nurses and I have a pacemaker with enough pills taken daily to choke a horse?

If we don't believe in Jesus, why are we doing what he ordered us to do? One of those things is in Matt. 24:14 which some answerers have a problem with. We already know most will "slam the door" but a few will listen.

"Turns 6 and Good Friday"? That's Catholics. Get it right.

Well they believe that God did create heaven and earth; however they still believe in the old testament in that they believe that Jesus was not the true son of God. They are still waiting on Jesus to come. Now Jesus has come to earth, saved souls, healed the sick, fed the hungry, preached, died on the cross, was crusified, dead and buried, on the third day he rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father, along with the Holy Ghost. If you do not believe in this doctrine, then you are not a true Christian. So therefore, that is not a true religion. Phat Beatz
