I dont know why, but it is true. I have my grandpa's old tools and man are they cool. In fact I have some of my great grandpa's old tools, a screw jack and shotgun shell hand loading kit. They made tools and cars to last in the old days. I like old tools and old cars. Working on Model A Fords is so easy it is a joy. I look under the hood of a 2001 Ford pickup and Im lost. Not so with a 1931. Of course I like new tools too. Yes this is question to contemplate for years to come. My wife says...A man and his tools are a good thing to have around the house.

Tools are what seperates US from the rest of the animal kingdom. Some like hand tools, others like power tools and others like battery operated tools. they give us abilities that we would otherwise NOT be capable of.
Which brings us to the all encompassing question. Which came first the tool or the tool belt?LOL

lol My poor husband was so unhandy around the house. He was challenged by a hammer, and when I heard a power tool, I ran to start damage control. He told me that the meanest thing I ever said to him was that he needed the tiniest tool belt ever made because all he should be allowed to use was a set of Allen Wrenches. (I hid the good stuff in the trunk of my car.)

they make noise. I am serious. I am convinced that if something doesn't make noise of some kind they dont like it. That is why they now have power nail guns and power drills and stuff like that oh they say it is to get things done faster but,--- it is the noise. lol
